Voor een groeiende onderneming te regio Oostkamp met sterke focus op duurzaamheid zijn we op zoek naar een Accounting Team Lead & Financial Controller. In deze rol fungeer je als eerste aanspreekpunt van het Accounting Team en ben je eindverantwoordelijke voor Accounting + Controlling. Verder rapporteer je in direct contact van de CFO.

Jobomschrijving

Als Accounting Team Lead & Financial Controller kom je terecht in een team bestaande uit 2 AP/AR profielen, een (Senior) Accountant en de CFO. In deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor 2 grote luiken:

Luik 1: Accounting & Operationeel beheer

Vanuit jouw ervaring binnen Accounting fungeer je als eerste en overkoepelend aanspreekpunt bij vragen van het Accounting team en zoek je samen naar oplossingen. Je voert een laatste check uit op de boekhouding en stuurt de Accountants bij. Daarnaast spring je hands-on bij waar nodig. Zo ben je verantwoordelijk voor:

  • Het leiden van de maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen: de voorbereidende werken pak je samen met de accountant op, jij draagt de verantwoordelijkheid voor de afsluiting zelf.
  • Het voorbereiden van de interne jaarrekeningen en consolidaties.
  • Het toezicht houden op btw-aangiftes, intrastat, VAT refund en reconciliaties, uitgevoerd door de accountant.
  • Het behandelen van fiscale en vennootschapsrechtelijke vragen, waar nodig af te stemmen met externe adviseurs.
  • Ondersteunen van het team bij complexere boekhoudkundige en financiële vraagstukken.
  • Verder uitbouwen van duidelijke werkafspraken, interne controles en gedocumenteerde financiële processen.
  • Het opvoglen van kredietdossiers, verzekeringen en het wagenpark.
  • Je zet AI-tools in om reconciliaties, rapportering en data-analyses te versnellen, zodat je meer tijd overhoudt voor wat er echt toe doet: het management adviseren en processen verbeteren.

Luik 2: Controlling & Analyse.

Daarnaast ben je actief met Financial/Business Controlling bestaande uit:

  • Financiële rapportering en analyses uitwerken in Bright Analytics.
  • Het opstellen van maandelijks rapporteringen en analyseren van omzet, brutomarges, ebitda, kosten, voorraad, werkkapitaal en rendabiliteit.
  • Het opzetten van budgetten, forecasts en management reporting.
  • Onderzoeken van afwijkingen tov budget, forecast en voorgaande periodes en vertalen naar duidelijke inzichten.
  • Finance-processen in Odoo en ERP mee implementeren en optimaliseren.
  • Je hebt een bachelor- of masterdiploma in een financiële/boekhoudkundige richting. (of gelijkwaardig door ervaring)
  • Je hebt een ijzersterke boekhoudkundige kennis/ervaring en kan vanuit jouw kennis het Accounting team bijsturen, helpen en adviseren.
  • Je hebt minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen Accounting of Financial Controlling.
  • Je ziet opportuniteiten om processen slimmer te maken, ook met behulp van technologie en AI.
  • Je haalt inzichten uit cijfers en zet die om in duidelijke adviezen.
  • Je communiceert vlot met collega's uit verschillende afdelingen
  • Je deelt graag je kennis en helpt collega's groeien in hun financiële expertise.
  • Je denkt verder dan de cijfers alleen en begrijpt de impact op de business.
  • Je neemt ownership en voelt je verantwoordelijk voor het eindresultaat.
