De functie inhoud Wat je gaat doen als Accountmanager:

  • Beheren en verder uitbouwen van een eigen klantenportefeuille.
  • Duurzame en vertrouwensvolle relaties opbouwen met bestaande klanten.
  • Actief luisteren naar klanten en hun behoeften en uitdagingen grondig in kaart brengen.
  • Klantbehoeften vertalen naar passende commerciële oplossingen met toegevoegde waarde.
  • Nieuwe commerciële opportuniteiten herkennen en hier proactief op inspelen.
  • Regelmatig telefonisch contact onderhouden met klanten en commerciële gesprekken voeren.
  • Prioriteiten stellen binnen jouw klantenportefeuille en dossiers planmatig opvolgen.
  • Commerciële informatie, klantinteracties en relevante gegevens zorgvuldig documenteren.
  • Cijfers en klantgegevens analyseren om trends, groeikansen en nieuwe mogelijkheden te identificeren.
  • Nauw samenwerken met verschillende interne afdelingen om klanten optimaal te ondersteunen.
  • Af en toe klanten bezoeken en deelnemen aan overlegmomenten bij het moederbedrijf.
  • Verantwoordelijkheid opnemen voor zowel klanttevredenheid als de verdere commerciële groei van jouw portefeuille.

Onze klant Je komt terecht bij een gevestigde groothandel gespecialiseerd in staal en metaal, die vanuit een professionele B2B-omgeving klanten uit verschillende sectoren bedient. De organisatie zet sterk in op duurzame partnerships en een commerciële aanpak waarbij luisteren, adviseren en meedenken met de klant centraal staan. Dankzij een uitgebreid inwerktraject leer je de producten, sector en klanten grondig kennen, waardoor ervaring binnen staal of metaal geen vereiste is. Wie jij bent als Accountmanager:

  • Minimaal in het bezit van een bachelordiploma of gelijkwaardig door relevante ervaring.
  • Een goede kennis van het Nederlands en een degelijke kennis van het Frans.
  • Commercieel ingesteld en communicatief sterk.
  • Empathisch en in staat om je goed in te leven in de situatie en uitdagingen van klanten.
  • Ervaring binnen sales, accountmanagement of een commerciële B2B-omgeving vormt een pluspunt.
  • Ervaring binnen de staal- of metaalsector is niet noodzakelijk.
  • Gestructureerd, planmatig en resultaatgericht in jouw manier van werken.
  • Cijfermatig sterk en comfortabel met het verwerken van grotere hoeveelheden informatie.
  • Proactief ingesteld en niet bang om telefonisch commerciële gesprekken aan te gaan.
  • Verantwoordelijk en zelfstandig in het beheren van jouw eigen klantenportefeuille.
  • Gericht op langdurige klantenrelaties in plaats van uitsluitend snelle verkoopresultaten.
  • Bij voorkeur woonachtig in de regio.
