Als accountmanager richt je je voor ongeveer 70 procent op het beheren en verder uitbouwen van een bestaande klantenportefeuille. De overige 30 bestaat uit het ontwikkelen van new business; Je hebt veel contact met klanten en verdiept je in hun organisatie en opleidingsbehoefte. Vanuit die kennis adviseer je over passende opleidingen, trainingen en maatwerktrajecten; Je werkt daarbij nauw samen met collega-s van sales, marketing, planning en inhoudelijke specialisten.

Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit: *Beheren en uitbouwen van een bestaande klantenportefeuille, voornamelijk binnen de financiële dienstverlening; *Onderhouden van langdurige klantrelaties en adviseren over opleidingsmogelijkheden; *Signaleren van commerciële kansen en benutten van upsell- en cross-sellmogelijkheden; *Actief benaderen van nieuwe organisaties; *Opbouwen en opvolgen van een eigen commerciële pipeline; *Voeren van acquisitie- en adviesgesprekken; *Vertalen van klantvragen naar passende opleidingen, trainingen en maatwerkprogramma's; *Werken met een CRM-systeem en zorgvuldig vastleggen van klantcontacten en commerciële kansen; *Volgen van ontwikkelingen in de markt en deze vertalen naar nieuwe mogelijkheden; *Samenwerken met marketing, planning en inhoudelijke experts; *Rapporteren over de voortgang van de portefeuille en commerciële resultaten.
