The posting

Als accountmanager food & beverages bouw je mee aan het snelst groeiende segment: de non-alcoholische en foodmarkt.

  • Je start met een bestaande portefeuille van 50 à 100 klanten die je geleidelijk overneemt – meteen de ideale manier om de producten en de markt grondig te leren kennen. Daarna wordt het een mix van farming en hunting, aangevuld met de introductie van nieuwe producten en toepassingen.
  • Je werkt adviserend: je gesprekspartners zijn productieverantwoordelijken en technisch geschoolde profielen. Je denkt mee over hun receptuur en uitdagingen en bouwt zo langetermijnrelaties op vanuit vertrouwen.
  • Je bent zo'n 4 dagen per week op de baan (10 à 12 bezoeken op afspraak) en 1 dag op kantoor, in nauw contact met het team en het magazijn. Wekelijks heb je een gestructureerd overleg met de zaakvoerder.
  • Je regio is in eerste instantie Vlaanderen, met uitbreiding naar Wallonië. Je vertegenwoordigt ons ook op 3 vakbeurzen per jaar (telkens één dag).
  • Bachelor of master met een technische basis: foodtechnologie, biochemie, (bio-)ingenieur of gelijkaardig. Die technische bagage is essentieel – de voedingsmarkt is competitief en je klanten verwachten iemand die hen technisch echt begrijpt.
  • Een eerste werkervaring in een commerciële of adviserende rol (idealiter je eerste saleservaring).
  • Je bent geduldig en relatiegericht: je verkoopt vanuit advies en vertrouwen, niet vanuit een catalogus.
  • Je bent kort op de bal – een klant krijgt binnen de 24 uur antwoord.
  • Naast een perfecte kennis van het Nederlands kan je je behelpen in het Frans (perfect hoeft niet); een basis Engels is mooi meegenomen.
  • Je wil meegroeien met een bedrijf in volle expansie en houdt van een hands-on, no-nonsense aanpak.
  • Je hebt een rijbewijs B.
