The posting

Als Accounts Specialist (AP/AR) volg je de klanten- en leveranciersboekhouding op voor drie entiteiten in België, het Verenigd Koninkrijk en de Verenigde Staten. De nadruk ligt op debiteurenbeheer: je volgt openstaande facturen op, spreekt met klanten over betalingen en helpt betalingsproblemen oplossen.

Daarnaast controleer je leveranciersfacturen en ondersteun je de maandafsluiting. Je werkt dagelijks samen met het Finance team en rapporteert aan de verantwoordelijke voor HR en Accounts.

Je verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Opvolgen van openstaande klantenfacturen voor de drie entiteiten.
  • Versturen van rekeningoverzichten en betalingsherinneringen.
  • Klanten telefonisch en per e-mail contacteren over achterstallige betalingen.
  • Bespreken en opvolgen van betalingsplannen wanneer dat nodig is.
  • Opvolgen van betaalgedrag en signaleren van klanten met een verhoogd kredietrisico.
  • Onderzoeken van betalingsverschillen en betalingen die nog niet aan een factuur gekoppeld zijn.
  • Samenwerken met Sales om vragen of problemen rond betalingen op te lossen.
  • Verwerken en opvolgen van leveranciersfacturen.
  • Controleren van facturen aan de hand van bestelbonnen en andere documenten.
  • Oplossen van factuurverschillen met leveranciers en interne collega’s.
  • Ondersteunen bij de voorbereiding van betalingen.
  • Uitvoeren van rekeningafstemmingen en financiële controles voor de maandafsluiting.
  • Het Finance team ondersteunen bij rapporteringen.
  • Je hebt een financiële achtergrond en bij voorkeur drie jaar ervaring in debiteurenbeheer, leveranciersboekhouding of een vergelijkbare functie.
  • Je hebt ervaring met ERP-systemen. Kennis van Exact Online is een pluspunt.
  • Je hebt kennis van intercompany-afstemmingen en btw-regels in België, het Verenigd Koninkrijk en de Verenigde Staten.
  • Je neemt vlot telefonisch contact op met klanten over openstaande betalingen.
  • Je kan professioneel betalingsafspraken bespreken en opvolgen.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, gestructureerd en zelfstandig.
  • Je denkt analytisch en zoekt actief naar oplossingen.
  • Je communiceert uitstekend in het Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • Je bent bereid om tijdens de maandafsluiting en andere drukke periodes flexibel bij te springen.
