Als activiteitentherapeut ben jij de onmisbare schakel in de psychosociale begeleiding van patiënten die geconfronteerd worden met ziekte, behandeling en/of opname. Met jouw creatieve methodieken en scherpe gesprekstechnieken, help je hen - zowel individueel als in groepsverband - om de autonomie, zelfredzaamheid en kwaliteit van leven weer terug te vinden. Je biedt geen standaardoplossingen, maar échte impact op de momenten dat het er het meest toe doet. Als activiteitentherapeut in ons MUMC+ begeleid je somatisch (ernstig) zieke patiënten vanaf 16 jaar met een acuut, chronisch en/of complex ziektebeeld. Geen dag is hetzelfde: je bent ziekenhuis-breed inzetbaar en staat klaar voor een zeer gevarieerde patiëntengroep: van oncologie en traumaletsel tot vroeg-revalidatie en gecompliceerde zwangerschappen. De snel wisselende situatie van je patiënten vraagt om jouw flexibiliteit, creativiteit en zorg op maat. Met kortdurende, methodische en ervaringsgerichte interventies bied je grip en veerkracht. Dit doe je zowel individueel als in groepsverband Hoe ziet je werkomgeving eruit? De afdeling Activiteitentherapie is organisatorisch een onderdeel van de expertise-eenheid Transmurale en Paramedische zorg (TPZ). De visie van TPZ luidt als volgt: 'Samen met zorgpartners faciliteren en stimuleren wij persoonsgerichte zorg in de keten; thuis als het kan, elders als het moet. Hierbij bieden wij de patiënt en diens naaste omgeving de mogelijkheid om, mét de gevolgen van ziekten, optimaal het eigen leven te kunnen leven.
