Gemeenten staan voor complexe, hedendaagse uitdagingen. Denk aan de financiële druk door de oplopende kosten in het sociaal domein, de miljardenopgave rondom de energietransitie en verduurzaming, en de structurele woningnood. Om deze maatschappelijke ambities waar te kunnen maken, is een solide financiële sturing en een vlekkeloze Planning & Control (P&C) cyclus essentieel. Binnen de regio Zuid werk je als adviseur financiën & control direct op locatie bij onze opdrachtgevers. Je combineert een scherpe analytische blik met gevoel voor bestuurlijke verhoudingen om financiële rust en overzicht te creëren in de organisatie. In de dagelijkse praktijk kan je werkweek er als volgt uitzien, geïllustreerd door drie concrete voorbeeldopdrachten: - Coördineren van de P&C-cyclus: Bij een middelgrote gemeente neem je de leiding over de totstandkoming van de Kadernota en de Jaarrekening. Je zorgt ervoor dat de cijfers kloppen conform de landelijke richtlijnen en je adviseert het college van burgemeester en wethouders over de financiële kaders en mogelijkheden. - Business controller in het sociaal domein: Voor een grote gemeente treed je op als financieel sparringpartner voor budgethouders binnen de Jeugdzorg en de Wmo. Je analyseert kostenontwikkelingen, signaleert budgetoverschrijdingen in een vroeg stadium en stelt samen met beleidsadviseurs concrete beheersmaatregelen op. - Financieel adviseur duurzaamheid: Je valideert de businesscases voor een grootschalig zonne-energieproject en war...
