Je houdt toezicht op de financiële positie van Zeeuwse gemeenten en gemeenschappelijke regelingen en mogelijk op het waterschap, in een periode waarin structureel begrotingsevenwicht, financiële weerbaarheid en toenemende druk op publieke middelen veel aandacht vragen. Je beoordeelt begrotingen, jaarrekeningen en andere planning-en-controlproducten en bespreekt jouw bevindingen met bestuurders, controllers en financieel adviseurs. Op basis van jouw analyses adviseer je Gedeputeerde Staten over de toezichtvorm en eventuele vervolgstappen. Je krijgt direct contact met decentrale overheden én werkt inhoudelijk op het snijvlak van financiën, openbaar bestuur en toezicht. Wat ga je doen? Als Adviseur Financieel toezicht beoordeel je de financiële gezondheid en toekomstbestendigheid van Zeeuwse decentrale overheden. Je combineert financiële analyse met bestuurlijke afwegingen en vertaalt jouw oordeel naar duidelijke adviezen, zodat Gedeputeerde Staten zorgvuldig besluiten kunnen nemen over het financieel toezicht. - Beheer je als accounthouder een aantal Zeeuwse gemeenten en gemeenschappelijke regelingen en mogelijk het waterschap, en onderhoud je contact met bestuurders, controllers en financieel adviseurs. - Analyseer je begrotingen, meerjarenramingen, jaarrekeningen, begrotingswijzigingen en andere planning-en-controlproducten op onder meer structureel begrotingsevenwicht, weerstandsvermogen, schuldpo...
