Geef verkeersveiligheidsbeleid handen en voeten en maak dagelijks impact op de weg. Het cluster Wegbeheer is verantwoordelijk voor het beheer van zo'n 470 km provinciale weg en 700 km fietspad. Als afdeling zorgen wij voor een veilig wegennet waarop alle weggebruikers zich vlot en veilig kunnen verplaatsen. Zo dragen wij samen met onze aannemers direct en tastbaar bij aan de kwaliteit van leven in Limburg. We zoeken een Adviseur Verkeersveiligheid die samen met ons deze opgave wil realiseren. Zo maak jij de provincie mooier, innovatiever en duurzamer Als Adviseur Verkeersveiligheid voer je het Provinciale verkeersveiligheidsbeleid uit. Dit beleid is opgesteld door onze collega's van de beleidsafdeling Mobiliteit. Bij Wegbeheer geven we hier handen en voeten aan door verkeersveiligheidsissues op ons wegennet te signaleren en op te lossen. Samen met je directe collega's toets je verkeerskundige ontwerpen, tijdelijke verkeersmaatregelen en vergunningen op verkeerstechnische aspecten. Je stemt de planning van wegwerkzaamheden en evenementen op provinciale wegen af met collega's van gemeenten en het Rijk. Ook beoordeel je omleidingsroutes en afzettingsplannen. Daarnaast houd je je bezig met het provinciaal wegennet zoals het er dagelijks bij ligt. Veranderende verkeersstromen, het gedrag van weggebruikers en nieuwe inzichten op het gebied van verkeersveiligheid vragen voortdurend om aandacht voor de veiligheid en doorstroming op onze wegen. Je brengt verkeerssituaties in het veld in kaart en analyseert daarnaast relevante data uit eigen bronnen en van externe partijken. Op basis van deze inzichten lever jij een belangrijke bijdrage aan het verbeteren van de verkeersveiligheid, bijvoorbeeld op risicolocaties. Ook zorg je voor een klantgerichte en efficiënte af...
