The posting

Voor een toonaangevend internationaal advocatenkantoor zijn wij op zoek naar een ervaren Associate Corporate / M&A om een groeiende praktijk in Brussel te versterken.

In deze rol begeleid je nationale en internationale cliënten bij uiteenlopende ondernemingsrechtelijke en M&A-transacties. Je bent van begin tot eind betrokken bij complexe dossiers en fungeert als sparringpartner voor cliënten op strategische en juridische vraagstukken.

Je werkt nauw samen met collega's uit verschillende praktijkgroepen en internationale kantoren, waardoor je regelmatig betrokken bent bij grensoverschrijdende transacties en multidisciplinaire projecten.

Uw functie als advocaat corporate M&A

  • Begeleiden en coördineren van fusies en overnames, van de transactiestructuur tot en met de closing.
  • Adviseren over ondernemingsrechtelijke structuren en vraagstukken rondom corporate governance.
  • Coördineren van transacties met cliënten en externe stakeholders, waaronder notarissen en andere adviseurs.
  • Opstellen, beoordelen en onderhandelen van transactiedocumentatie;
  • uitvoeren en coördineren van due diligence-onderzoeken;
  • Fungeren als trusted advisor voor ondernemingsrechtelijke vraagstukken, waaronder herstructureringen, aandeelhoudersgeschillen en governancevraagstukken.

Je bent een zelfstandige en ondernemende advocaat met een pragmatische instelling en een sterk ontwikkeld gevoel voor samenwerking. Je communiceert helder, denkt oplossingsgericht en voelt je thuis in een dynamische, internationaal georiënteerde praktijk.

Daarnaast beschik je over:

  • Een Belgisch masterdiploma Rechten.
  • Minimaal 3 jaar relevante ervaring binnen Corporate/M&A.
  • Uitstekende beheersing van het Nederlands, aangevuld met een goede kennis van het Engels en Frans.
  • Een commerciële en cliëntgerichte mindset.
  • Sterke organisatorische vaardigheden en het vermogen meerdere dossiers gelijktijdig te beheren.
  • Een proactieve houding en interesse in business development.
