Een leider die eigenaarschap versterkt, duidelijke kaders biedt en bijdraagt aan een professionele en veilige leeromgeving waarin leerlingen en medewerkers zich kunnen ontwikkelen. Bredius is de vmbo-locatie van het Kalsbeek College in Woerden. Jaarlijks kiezen zo'n 200 nieuwe leerlingen voor de school. Binnen een betrokken team wordt volop gewerkt aan de verdere ontwikkeling van het onderwijs, het pedagogisch-didactisch klimaat en een professionele werkcultuur. Als afdelingsleider geef je samen met je collega-afdelingsleider leiding aan de brede onderbouw, met bijna 50 medewerkers. Binnen jouw portefeuille ben je verantwoordelijk voor onderwijs en leerlingenzaken en houd je zicht op onder meer resultaten en doorstroom. Daarnaast draag je bij aan de pedagogisch-didactische ontwikkeling van de onderbouw. Onze nieuwe afdelingsleider : - beschikt over hbo+ werk- en denkniveau en hebt een stevige onderwijskundige basis; - hebt aantoonbare ervaring met leidinggevende of coördinerende werkzaamheden en bent in staat om vanaf de start zelfstandig in deze rol te functioneren; - kent het voortgezet onderwijs en beschikt over kennis van het primaire proces en onderwijslogistieke processen; - geeft coachend leiding, stimuleert eigenaarschap en durft duidelijke kaders te stellen en bij te sturen wanneer dat nodig is; - bent reflectief en samenwerkingsgericht en kunt op een open manier feedback geven én ontvangen. We zoeken een afdelingsleider met openheid, flexibiliteit en een coachende stijl van leidinggeven. Je bent toegankelijk, kunt relativeren en denkt mee vanuit de afdeling en niet vanuit de ''ik''.
