Als afdelingsmanager Verloskunde geef je leiding aan een professioneel en betrokken team van klinisch verloskundigen, obstetrieverpleegkundigen en regieverpleegkundigen binnen het Moeder en Kindcentrum. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse aansturing van de afdeling Verloskunde, waarbij je een grote span of control hebt. Je zorgt voor een veilige en inspirerende werkomgeving waarin ruimte is voor ontwikkeling, eigenaarschap en samenwerking. Jij hebt oog voor zowel het individu als groepsprocessen, zodat iedereen de kans krijgt om hun talenten te ontwikkelen. Jij zet medewerkers in hun kracht en stimuleert hiermee de persoonlijke ontwikkeling. Bovendien ben je een verbinder, iemand die in staat is om met weerstand en tegenstrijdige belangen om te gaan zonder de doelstellingen uit het oog te verliezen. Met jouw aandacht voor het team, de werkprocessen en je affiniteit met financiën zoals het schrijven van investering aanvragen en het schrijven van businesscases, ga jij een belangrijke bijdrage leveren aan onze afdeling. Met de afdelingsmanager van de Kraamafdeling heb je een bijzonder nauwe samenwerking, waarbij sprake is van een verweven aansturing en onderlinge vervanging bij afwezigheid. Daarnaast werk je intensief samen met de medisch coördinator van de vakgroep Gynaecologie om de medische en operationele processen op elkaar af te stemmen en gezamenlijk richting te geven aan de kwaliteit van zorg.
