Onze klant is een technisch sterke en internationaal actieve groep, gespecialiseerd in geavanceerde oplossingen binnen de plaatbewerking en de productie van complexe mechanische systemen. Vanuit verschillende productiesites in Europa worden hoogwaardige componenten en volledig afgewerkte assemblages gerealiseerd voor toonaangevende klanten binnen onder meer de machinebouw en spoorwegindustrie.

De organisatie combineert een indrukwekkende internationale schaal met sterke lokale productieteams. In totaal werken er ongeveer 800 medewerkers die dagelijks hun technische expertise en vakmanschap inzetten om kwalitatieve oplossingen te realiseren. Dankzij een uitgebreid en sterk geautomatiseerd machinepark en een team van ongeveer 60 medewerkers worden er flexibele en efficiënte productoplossingen gerealiseerd. De korte lijnen tussen productie, engineering en andere afdelingen zorgen ervoor dat er snel kan worden geschakeld en dat medewerkers een duidelijke impact hebben op het eindresultaat.

Voor de verdere uitbouw van de lasafdeling zoeken we een Afdelingsverantwoordelijke Lasserij die technische kennis kan combineren met sterk people management. Je krijgt de kans om een team te begeleiden, processen verder te professionaliseren en mee te bouwen aan een afdeling die kwaliteit en leverbetrouwbaarheid hoog in het vaandel draagt.

Wat houdt de job in? Als Afdelingsverantwoordelijke Lasserij ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse werking van de lasafdeling. Je stuurt een team van ongeveer 8 medewerkers aan en zorgt ervoor dat de productie veilig, efficiënt en volgens de vooropgestelde kwaliteits- en leveringsnormen verloopt.

  • Een team van ongeveer 8 medewerkers binnen de lasafdeling aansturen en begeleiden
  • De dagelijkse productieactiviteiten organiseren en zorgen voor een efficiënte werkverdeling
  • Werkingsmiddelen en personeel optimaal inzetten volgens de vooropgestelde planning
  • Productieprioriteiten bewaken en bijsturen wanneer omstandigheden wijzigen
  • Toezien op de naleving van voorschriften rond veiligheid, kwaliteit, milieu en leverbetrouwbaarheid
  • Medewerkers coachen, motiveren en verder ontwikkelen zodat hun technische competenties optimaal worden benut
  • Nieuwe medewerkers begeleiden en zorgen voor een goede kennisoverdracht binnen het team
  • De samenwerking en communicatie met andere productieafdelingen vlot laten verlopen
  • Productieresultaten en aandachtspunten opvolgen en waar nodig acties ondernemen
  • Bijdragen aan het behalen van de operationele doelstellingen op vlak van kwaliteit, veiligheid, efficiëntie en planning
  • Je beschikt over een A2- of bachelordiploma in een technische richting, of bent gelijkwaardig door relevante ervaring
  • Ervaring met lassen en begrijpt de technische realiteit van een productieomgeving
  • Aantoonbare ervaring in people management en weet een team op een duidelijke en motiverende manier aan te sturen
  • Je bent organisatorisch sterk, communicatief en durft medewerkers op een correcte manier aan te spreken
  • Ervaring met ERP/MRP-systemen is een pluspunt
  • Kennis van Nederlands omwille van veiligheidsvoorschriften, basiskennis Frans en Engels is een mooie extra troef
