Als Mechanical Engineer rapporteer je aan de Technical Manager en ben je verantwoordelijk voor ... - Het uitvoeren, controleren en opvolgen van de assemblage tijdens de uitvoeringsfase met de onderaannemer en het beheren van het postfabricageproces samen met je team - Het bieden van mechanische ondersteuning om de soepele werking van productieapparatuur en -faciliteiten te garanderen, met de nadruk op het onderhoud en de betrouwbaarheid van de installaties. - Ontwikkelen van diepgaande kennis van onderhoudsprocedures en -technieken voor productie-installaties, met name binnen een glasproductieomgeving - Plannen en uitvoeren van preventieve onderhoudsschema's voor alle relevante apparatuur om de uptime te maximaliseren en ongeplande stilstand te verminderen - Nauw samenwerken met het productiemanagement om prioriteiten te stellen voor correctief onderhoud en mechanische problemen snel aan te pakken en op te lossen - Proactief mogelijke verbeteringen in onderhoudsprocessen identificeren en ideeën aandragen om de efficiëntie, levensduur en veiligheid van apparatuur te verbeteren - Fungeren als primaire technische contactpersoon bij grote storingen, praktische ondersteuning bieden en indien nodig coördineren met interne teams en externe dienstverleners - Gedetailleerde technische documentatie voorbereiden en bijhouden, inclusief onderhoudslogboeken, reparatiehistorieken en standaard werkprocedures (SOP's) - Leiding geven aan initiatieven om de opbrengst, efficiëntie en kwaliteit te verbeteren door innovatieve onderhoudsstrategieën aan te bevelen en te implementeren - Samenwerken met de inkoopafdeling om toezicht te houden op de aankoop van reserveonderdelen, gereedschappen en onderhoudsmaterialen, zodat de benodigde middelen altijd beschikbaar zijn - Sterke relaties opbouwen en onderhouden met andere afdelingen en externe leveranciers om efficiënte communicatie en coördinatie van onderhoudsactiviteiten te garanderen - Rapporteren aan de Technische Manager over onderhoudsactiviteiten, de status van apparatuur en verbeterprojecten

· Een bachelordiploma in werktuigbouwkunde/mechanische engineering, elektromechanica,... · Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in een onderhouds- of technische ondersteuningsfunctie, idealiter binnen een productie- of industriële omgeving · Sterke mechanische kennis, met expertise in het diagnosticeren, oplossen van problemen en repareren van industriële machines · Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden om effectief te communiceren met teamleden, afdelingshoofden en externe leveranciers · Projectmanagementvaardigheden, met het vermogen om onderhoudstaken te organiseren en prioriteiten te stellen · Het vermogen om zowel zelfstandig als samen te werken met andere afdelingen en teams · Vaardigheid in onderhoudsbeheersoftware en bekendheid met systemen als Microsoft Projects, SAP, Scada Controls, AutoCAD en de vaardigheid om simulaties te maken
