Een internationaal en beursgenoteerd productiebedrijf in West-Vlaanderen is op zoek naar een gedreven AI Engineer om de organisatie te versterken. Je komt terecht in een duurzame onderneming met een wereldwijde afzetmarkt. Als AI Engineer speel je een sleutelrol in de verdere digitale transformatie en het introduceren van geavanceerde kunstmatige intelligentie in de bedrijfsprocessen.

In deze rol krijg je de vrijheid om innovatieve generatieve AI-oplossingen te ontwerpen en op te schalen naar productie. Je werkt nauw samen met verschillende interne afdelingen om echte waarde te creëren en AI-gedreven efficiëntie binnen de organisatie te verankeren. Met jouw expertise breng je niet alleen technische oplossingen tot stand, maar help je de organisatie ook om deze technologieën succesvol te omarmen.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Je bouwt GenAI-toepassingen van productiekwaliteit in Python of .NET.
  • Je evalueert en monitort GenAI-workflows en agents op een systematische manier.
  • Je optimaliseert modellen en agents op basis van gestructureerde experimenten en data.
  • Je ontwerpt en implementeert schaalbare oplossingsarchitecturen binnen de Azure-cloudomgeving.
  • Je vertaalt complexe technische AI-concepten naar heldere inzichten voor de interne stakeholders.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je bent in het bezit van een masterdiploma in een relevante richting.
  • Je hebt een sterke affiniteit met AI en andere data gerelateerde topics.
  • Je combineert sterke communicatieve vaardigheden met het vermogen om de bridge te slaan tussen technologie en business.
  • Een analytische en resultaatgerichte aanpak staat centraal, evenals de passie om continu bij te leren binnen het snelgroeiende AI-domein.
  • Ervaring vanuit jouw stage binnen een industriële of productieomgeving en affiniteit met ERP- of MES-systemen is een pluspunt.
