The posting

Plainsight is op zoek naar een AI Engineer die AI-oplossingen niet alleen bedenkt, maar ze ook werkend krijgt bij de klant.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je bouwt AI-toepassingen in onze AI-trajecten, van eerste prototype tot een oplossing die in de praktijk draait: assistenten en chatbots op bedrijfsdocumenten (RAG), AI-agents die processen automatiseren, document- en beeldverwerking, voorspellende modellen, ...
  • Je vertrekt altijd van een blueprint: requirements, data, architectuur en risico's liggen vast voor de eerste lijn code geschreven wordt.
  • Je bouwt in korte iteraties volgens kruipen, wandelen, lopen: eerst de kernfunctionaliteit aantonen, dan doet de AI voorstellen die de mens valideert, en pas daarna beslist de AI zelfstandiger.
  • Je werkt met AI coding agents binnen ons Agentic Development Framework: spec- en test-driven development, code reviews en quality gates. De AI schrijft mee, jij bent eigenaar van elke lijn code.
  • Je integreert de oplossing in bestaande systemen (ERP, CRM, SharePoint, ...) en bouwt zo dat de volgende use case kan hergebruiken wat jij neerzette.
  • Je zit mee aan tafel bij de klant: je bouwt in co-creatie met hun medewerkers, test samen met eindgebruikers en coacht hun interne trekker om de volgende use case zelf op te pakken.

Plainsight is op zoek naar:

  • Een engineer die even vlot met een klant praat als met een API.
  • Iemand die weet dat een proof of concept (het werkt) nog geen proof of value (het loont) is.
  • Iemand die de technologie kiest op basis van het probleem, en niet omgekeerd.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

  • Minstens 2 jaar ervaring als software engineer, data engineer of ML/AI engineer.
  • Sterke kennis van Python; je bouwt API's en schrijft tests zonder dat iemand erom vraagt.
  • Hands-on ervaring met LLM's (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, ...), RAG en/of agents.
  • Ervaring met minstens één cloudplatform: Azure, AWS of GCP.
  • Je werkt graag bij de klant ter plaatse en schakelt vlot tussen techniek en business.
  • Je spreekt en schrijft vlot Nederlands en Engels.

Kennis van volgende tooling is een plus:

  • Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio
  • Databricks en Microsoft Fabric
  • LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, MCP
  • Vector search (Azure AI Search, pgvector, ...)
  • Docker, CI/CD, Azure DevOps of GitHub
  • Claude Code, Cursor of andere AI coding tools
