In deze vierjarige opleiding tot algemeen klinisch fysicus word je onderdeel van een hecht en multidisciplinair team van professionals dat dagelijks werkt aan de zorg van morgen. De klinisch fysicus is een medisch specialist in de gezondheidszorg met kennis van natuurkundige principes. De klinisch fysicus draagt zorg voor ondersteuning en beleid rond medische technologie ter bevordering van de kwaliteit, doelmatigheid en veiligheid van de patiëntenzorg. Dit betreft de zorg voor innovatie, gebruik, onderhoud en beschikbaarheid van alle medische technologie in een ziekenhuis. Hierbij horen ook de zorg gerelateerde ICT, (steriele) medische hulpmiddelen, (actieve) implantaten en de eventuele instructie over technologie aan gebruikers.
