Krijg jij energie van strakke deadlines en internationale zendingen die dankzij jou op tijd vertrekken? Voor onze klant, een wereldwijde full-service logistieke speler met meer dan 45 jaar ervaring, zoeken we een Airfreight Forwarder voor het kantoor in Machelen, vlak bij Brussels Airport.

Je bent de schakel tussen klanten, airlines en collega’s wereldwijd en volgt import- en exportzendingen op van boeking tot levering. Je werkt in een organisatie met een echte can-do mentaliteit, waar problemen uitdagingen zijn en oplossingen belangrijker dan procedures. Daar staan een vast contract en een brutomaandloon tot €4.500 tegenover.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je coördineert luchtvrachtzendingen voor import en export, van boeking tot aflevering
  • Je boekt capaciteit bij airlines en onderhandelt over tarieven en vertrekken
  • Je stelt airway bills, transport- en douanedocumenten correct en tijdig op
  • Je volgt zendingen op en houdt klanten proactief op de hoogte
  • Je grijpt snel in bij vertragingen, offloads of andere onverwachte situaties
  • Je werkt samen met buitenlandse agenten, handlingagenten en collega’s van zeevracht en wegtransport
  • Je rondt elk dossier administratief correct af in de systemen
  • Een bachelordiploma logistiek of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Kennis van airfreight forwarding en de regelgeving in luchtvracht
  • Ervaring met het coördineren van zendingen en transportdocumentatie
  • Sterk in communiceren en onderhandelen met klanten en airlines
  • Nauwkeurig en georganiseerd, ook als meerdere zendingen tegelijk aandacht vragen
  • Vlot met logistieke software en MS Office
  • Goed Nederlands en Engels, Frans is een mooie extra
