Wat zijn je taken?

Als algemeen directeur van het stedelijk onderwijs Vilvoorde ben je de spilfiguur die richting geeft aan alle stedelijke scholen, academies en het leersteuncentrum. Je combineert strategisch inzicht met verbindend leiderschap en pedagogische visie.

Je kerntaken omvatten vier grote pijlers:

Leiderschap en ondersteuning

Je geeft leiding aan de directies van de 7 basisscholen, de school voor buitengewoon lager onderwijs, de school voor buitengewoon secundair onderwijs, de 2 academies en het leersteuncentrum, en ondersteunt hen in het ontwikkelen van sterk onderwijskundig leiderschap. Je bouwt aan performante directieteams door in te zetten op co-creatie, samenwerking en vertrouwen. Daarnaast geef je leiding aan centrale onderwijsmedewerkers zoals ICT-coördinatoren, onthaalcoaches, taalteams en beleidsmedewerkers. Je geeft mee richting aan de overkoepelende beleidsplannen. Je bemiddelt bij complexe situaties en begeleidt aanwervingen en rekrutering.

Pedagogisch beleid

Je bent de drijvende kracht achter het vernieuwde (artistiek) pedagogisch project van het stedelijk onderwijs. Je inspireert het pedagogisch beleid en stimuleert vernieuwing in overleg met het schoolbestuur. Je streeft actief naar onderwijskwaliteit en begeleidt schoolteams bij het aanpakken van verbeterpunten uit doorlichtingsverslagen. Je coördineert de zorgwerking en zet in op gemeenschappelijke initiatieven die bijdragen aan een inclusieve en kwaliteitsvolle leeromgeving.

Organisatie en optimalisatie

Je optimaliseert de werking van het stedelijk onderwijs door processen te stroomlijnen en regelgeving correct toe te passen. Je waakt erover om de omkadering en financiële middelen efficiënt op prioritaire doelstellingen in te zetten. Je ontwikkelt een actieplan rond psychosociaal welzijn en werkt aan duurzame verbeteringen in de onderwijsleerprocessen. Je coördineert de algemene werking, zit het directieoverleg voor en helpt mee de uitdagingen van het stedelijk onderwijs in kaart te brengen en op te lossen.

Communicatie en samenwerking

Je zorgt voor heldere en gerichte communicatie, zowel intern als extern. Je bent de woordvoerder met het schoolbestuur en geeft mee vorm aan het directeurscollege. Je onderhoudt nauwe contacten met stadsdiensten en externe partners zoals het CLB. Je vertegenwoordigt het stedelijk onderwijs in het Lokaal Overlegplatform (LOP) en in de schoolraden, en draagt bij aan een transparante en gedragen informatie-uitwisseling binnen het onderwijsnetwerk.

  • Je bent in het bezit van masterdiploma of daarmee gelijkgesteld.
  • Je hebt ruime ervaring met leidinggeven.
  • Je hebt ervaring met onderwijs of een groot inlevingsvermogen voor onderwijs.
  • Je beantwoordt aan het profiel van directeur (laatste pagina van vacaturebericht) en aan de competenties beschreven onder jobinhoud.
  • Je bent bereid om bij te scholen en expertise in onderwijsmateries te versterken.
  • Je voldoet aan de algemene voorwaarden om bij ons te werken: Nationaliteit: Je verblijft wettig in België, hebt toegang tot de Belgische arbeidsmarkt. Je bent burger van een EU-lidstaat of van de Europese Economische Ruimte (EER). Heb je een diploma uit het buitenland? Bezorg ons de beslissingsbrief van Naric-Vlaanderen). Rechten en onberispelijk gedrag: je hebt burgerlijke en politieke rechten in België. Dat bewijs je met een uittreksel uit het strafregister. Taal: je voldoet aan de taalvereisten (Nederlands), zoals bepaald door de wetten met betrekking tot het gebruik van talen in bestuurszaken.
