Allround Maritiem Technieker - Mechanica, Elektriciteit & HVAC

Voor een professionele maritieme serviceorganisatie in de British Virgin Islands (BVI) zijn we op zoek naar drie ervaren Allround Maritieme Techniekers.

De ideale kandidaat heeft een sterke technische achtergrond in de volgende drie disciplines:

⚙️ Mechanica ⚡ Elektriciteit ❄️ HVAC & Koeltechniek

Kandidaten met professionele ervaring in minstens twee van deze drie disciplines komen eveneens in aanmerking.

Let op: techniekers die uitsluitend binnen één discipline werkzaam zijn, komen niet in aanmerking voor deze functie.

OVER DE FUNCTIE

Allround Maritiem Technieker - Mechanica, Elektriciteit & HVAC BVI

Je maakt deel uit van een professioneel maritiem technisch team en werkt aan een gevarieerd aanbod van zeiljachten en motorjachten in de British Virgin Islands.

Je houdt je bezig met het opsporen en diagnosticeren van technische storingen, uitvoeren van herstellingen en onderhoud, en draagt bij aan de betrouwbare werking van verschillende technische systemen aan boord.

We zoeken iemand die praktisch is ingesteld, over de nodige ervaring beschikt en vlot kan schakelen tussen verschillende technische disciplines, afhankelijk van wat de job vereist.

⚙️ Mechanica

Afhankelijk van je ervaring kan dit onder meer gaan om:

  • Maritieme dieselmotoren en voortstuwingssystemen
  • Koelsystemen en warmtewisselaars
  • Brandstofsystemen
  • Keerkoppelingen, assen en schroeven
  • Uitlaatsystemen
  • Generatoren
  • Boegschroeven en andere mechanische hulpsystemen
  • Storingsdiagnose, onderhoud en herstellingen

⚡ Elektriciteit

Onder andere:

  • 12V- en 24V-gelijkstroomsystemen
  • AC-walstroomsystemen
  • Accubanken en laadsystemen
  • Omvormers en laders
  • Alternatoren en laadcircuits van motoren
  • Verdeelpanelen en bekabeling aan boord
  • Lenspompen en dekuitrusting
  • Elektrische storingsdiagnose
  • Veilige elektrische installatietechnieken aan boord

❄️ HVAC & Koeltechniek

Onder andere:

  • Airconditioningssystemen voor jachten
  • Koelinstallaties
  • Omgaan met en onderhouden van koelmiddelen
  • Zeewaterkoelsystemen
  • Compressoren, verdampers en condensors
  • Inbedrijfstelling en onderhoud van systemen
  • Storingsdiagnose en probleemoplossing

Ervaring met watermakers is een pluspunt.

WIE BEN JIJ?

Allround Maritiem Technieker - Mechanica, Elektriciteit & HVAC

  • Minimaal 5 jaar professionele hands-on ervaring binnen de maritieme techniek, met sterke vaardigheden op het gebied van diagnose en herstellingen.
  • Sterke professionele kennis van minstens twee van de volgende disciplines: mechanica, elektriciteit en HVAC & koeltechniek. Ervaring in alle drie is sterk meegenomen.
  • Relevante professionele certificaten en ervaring met het werken aan zeiljachten en/of motorjachten, bij voorkeur binnen een marina, scheepswerf, chartervloot of vergelijkbare professionele omgeving.
  • Je bent professioneel, praktisch ingesteld en een echte teamspeler. Je beschikt over goede communicatieve vaardigheden in het Engels, hebt een geldig rijbewijs en kunt zelfstandig werken wanneer nodig.

Gewenste ervaring

Extra troeven zijn:

  • ABYC-certificaten of andere internationaal erkende certificeringen
  • Ervaring met OEM's en fabrikanten
  • Ervaring met catamarans
  • 8+ jaar ervaring
  • Offshore- of bluewaterervaring
  • Ervaring met onderhoud en service van watermakers

CERTIFICATEN & KWALIFICATIES

Allround Maritiem Technieker

  • Een actuele professionele certificering is vereist.

ABYC-certificering geldt als referentie, maar ook gelijkwaardige, internationaal erkende kwalificaties komen in aanmerking.

⚙️ Mechanica

  • Vereist: ABYC Marine Engines & Fuel Systems – of een gelijkwaardige internationale certificering
  • Bij voorkeur: certificering van een OEM/fabrikant, zoals Yanmar, Volvo Penta, Cummins, Beta of Perkins
  • Pluspunt: ABYC Master Technician-certificering (3+ certificeringen)

⚡ Elektriciteit

  • Vereist: ABYC Marine Electrical Certification – of een gelijkwaardige internationale certificering
  • Bij voorkeur: ABYC Advanced Marine Electrical Certification
  • Pluspunt: ABYC Master Technician-certificering

❄️ HVAC & Koeltechniek

  • Vereist: erkende certificering voor het werken met koelmiddelen / EPA 608 – of een gelijkwaardige internationale certificering
  • Vereist: ABYC A/C & Refrigeration Certification (of gelijkwaardig) – of aantoonbare gelijkwaardige ervaring
  • Bij voorkeur: ABYC Marine Systems Certification

Internationale kwalificaties welkom
