Ben jij per direct of in de periode tot en met november 2026 beschikbaar? Dan komen we graag met je in contact. Over de functie Als ambulanceverpleegkundige werk je voor de ambulancedienst van de overheid van Sint Maarten. Dit is een zelfstandige dienst, los van het ziekenhuis. Je rijdt ritten op het levendige eiland samen met een lokale chauffeur en bent de medische spil in de ambulance. Je taken omvatten onder andere het bepalen van de benodigde zorg ter plaatse, het uitvoeren van verpleegkundige en medische handelingen, het begeleiden van patiënten en hun naasten en het bewaren van het overzicht in chaotische situaties. Ook bij rampen en grootschalige incidenten speel je een actieve rol. Alle communicatie en documentatie verlopen in het Engels. Wat wij vragen - Een diploma Ambulanceverpleegkundige - Minimaal 1 jaar recente gediplomeerde ervaring als ambulanceverpleegkundige - Geldige BIG-registratie - In bezit van geldige ACLS en PHTLS certificaten - Beschikbaarheid van minimaal 3 maanden, voorkeur voor langer - Goede beheersing van en comformfortabel in Engels in woord en geschrift, Frans spreken is een pré - Aanpassingsvermogen en respect voor de lokale cultuur van Sint Maarten - Een flexibele houding en warme persoonlijkheid. Je moet het leuk vinden om te zorgen voor de veelzijdigheid aan patiënten op het eiland Dit bieden wij jou Healthz begeleidt je van begin tot eind.
