Je maakt deel uit van ons gedreven multidisciplinaire team. Jouw werkgebied betreft met name de obsessieve-compulsieve stoornissen (OCS). Daarnaast is er bij deze doelgroep vaak sprake van co-morbide aandoeningen, waardoor je brede diagnostische ervaring opdoet. Het Amsterdam UMC is een expertisecentrum voor neuromodulatie, zoals repetitieve Transcraniële Magnetische Stimulatie (rTMS) voor BDD en diepe hersenstimulatie (DBS) voor OCS. Binnen dit expertisecentrum krijg jij een actieve rol in de indicatiestelling en behandeling van patiënten met DBS voor OCS. Dat betekent concreet: - je voert onder supervisie zelfstandig psychiatrische intakes, second opinions en behandelingen uit; - je maakt deel uit van het DBS-team, dit betekent dat je actief deelneemt aan de indicatiestelling voor DBS bij OCS en patiënten frequent ziet voor aanpassingen in de DBS instellingen. - je neemt deel aan patiëntenbesprekingen/multidisciplinair overleg met andere specialismen, waaronder de neurochirurgie; - je werkt intensief samen met GZ-psychologen, verpleegkundigen specialisten en gedragstherapeutische wetenschappers op de polikliniek; - je begeleidt coassistenten bij intakes; - je neemt deel aan de uitgebreide onderwijsactiviteiten van de afdeling, specifiek georganiseerd voor de A(N)IOS; - je kan in overleg participeren in de 24-uursdienst van de psychiatrie in het Amsterdam UMC De functie is geschikt voor artsen die ervaring in en/of affiniteit met de psychiatrie hebben.
