ANIOS ouderenzorg - kies jouw aandachtsgebied Jouw nieuwe baan Ouderengeneeskunde is veel breder dan één type patiënt of ziektebeeld. In deze functie krijg je de mogelijkheid om ervaring op te doen binnen psychogeriatrie (PG), somatiek of geriatrische revalidatiezorg (GRZ). Samen wordt gekeken welk aandachtsgebied het beste aansluit bij jouw interesses en ontwikkeldoelen. Je krijgt verantwoordelijkheid voor je eigen patiëntengroep. Je beoordeelt medische situaties, stelt diagnoses, zet behandelingen in en volgt het effect daarvan. Daarbij kijk je verder dan de medische klacht alleen. Kwaliteit van leven, functioneren en de wensen van de patiënt en diens naasten wegen nadrukkelijk mee in jouw keuzes. Zelfstandig werken betekent hier niet dat je er alleen voor staat. Je werkt nauw samen met specialisten ouderengeneeskunde, verpleegkundigen, verzorgenden en paramedici. Ervaren artsen zijn beschikbaar om mee te denken over complexe casuïstiek. Je denkt daarnaast mee over de ontwikkeling van de zorg, innovaties en beleid. Wil je uiteindelijk verder als huisarts of specialist ouderengeneeskunde? De brede ervaring die je hier opdoet geeft je een stevige basis. Er zijn bovendien mogelijkheden om door te groeien naar een opleidingsplek tot specialist ouderengeneeskunde. Jouw nieuwe werkplek Je gaat rechtstreeks in dienst bij een grote ouderenzorgorganisatie in Zuid-Limburg met locaties in onder andere Heerlen, Maastricht en verschillende plaatsen in het Heuvelland. De organisatie biedt een breed spectrum aan ouderenzorg. Naast PG, somatiek en GRZ zijn er onder andere gerontopsychiatrie, palliatieve zorg en eerstelijnszorg. Binnen de GRZ wordt nauw samengewerkt met het ziekenhuis. Juist die breedte maakt deze werkplek interessant wanneer je nog wilt ontdekken welke richting binnen de geneeskunde bij je past. PG...
