Dertig landen, zestig legal entities, een BPO-partner in India, maandelijkse closings onder tijdsdruk en een ERP-migratie die midden in de operaties doorgaat. Je hebt het allemaal meegemaakt, en je weet hoe je daar structuur, rust en kwaliteit in brengt.

Bij een internationale marktleider in medische producten zoeken we een AP Manager die vanuit Leuven de Europese AP-hub aanstuurt binnen een Global Business Services-structuur. Een omgeving met internationale teams in België, het VK en India, een actief finance transformatietraject en producten die elke dag het verschil maken in de gezondheidszorg.

Jouw rol

Je neemt als AP Manager volledige verantwoordelijkheid over het Accounts Payable domein en fungeert als de verbindende schakel tussen finance en internationale business stakeholders. Vanuit de Europese hub in Leuven houd je toezicht op AP-activiteiten in België, het Verenigd Koninkrijk en India, en werk je samen met teams verspreid over de wereld.

Operationele verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Volledige AP-cyclus voor Europese landen: ontvangst, review, verwerking en goedkeuring van facturen conform groepsbeleid
  • Three-way matching, opvolging van discrepanties en escalatie waar nodig
  • Voorbereiding en uitvoering van betalingsruns via diverse betaalmethoden (EFT, Wire, ACH, DD, SEPA B2B/B2C)
  • Beheer van vendor reconciliaties, AP subledger afstemming op de GL en behandeling van intercompany saldi
  • Maandelijkse en jaarlijkse closing-activiteiten: accruals, prepayments, open PO's en AP-aanpassingen
  • Toezicht op compliance: BTW, Intrastat, SOx-vereisten, interne controles en segregation of duties
  • Opbouw en opvolging van KPI's en AP-rapportages: aging, vendor spending, payment forecast, accrualoverzichten
  • Ondersteuning bij audit-trajecten: aanleveren van documentatie, toelichting bij reconciliaties en implementatie van aanbevelingen

People management & leiderschap:

  • Aansturen, coachen en ontwikkelen van internationale AP-teams en BPO-partners
  • Bewaken van SLA-kwaliteit en operationele consistentie bij uitbestede processen
  • Technische begeleiding van BPO-teams op het ERP-systeem: aanspreekpunt voor complexe verwerkings- en systematikvragen
  • Zichtbaar en betrokken leiderschap: je bent er voor je mensen, over tijdszones en landsgrenzen heen

Jouw profiel

Je bent een senior finance professional die complexe AP-omgevingen kent van voor naar achter. Je verliest de mensen in je team niet uit het oog en weet hoe je structuur en rust brengt in een organisatie die voortdurend evolueert.

  • Bachelor of master in een financiële richting
  • Minimaal 10 jaar relevante ervaring in AP en GL, bij voorkeur over meerdere landen en legal entities
  • Bewezen leidinggevende ervaring, zowel direct als via BPO-coördinatie en procesleiderschap
  • Praktische kennis van grote ERP-systemen zoals Oracle Cloud Financials of SAP S/4HANA
  • Vertrouwd met US GAAP en/of IFRS en financiële afsluiting over meerdere entiteiten
  • Sterke kennis van BTW in een internationale context, SOx en interne controles
  • Aantoonbare ervaring met finance transformation of ERP-implementatieprojecten is een sterk pluspunt
  • Analytisch, oplossingsgericht en comfortabel in een omgeving met veel complexiteit en verandering
  • Vloeiend in Engels (vereist); kennis van Frans of Nederlands is een pluspunt
  • Bereid om internationaal te reizen: regelmatig naar het VK, occasioneel naar Azië
