Onze opdrachtgever is een internationale handels- en distributiegroep met meer dan een eeuw ervaring en een sterke aanwezigheid in Europa, Noord- en Zuid-Amerika, Afrika, het Midden-Oosten en Azië. Vanuit het Belgische hoofdkantoor worden de wereldwijde activiteiten ondersteund en samengewerkt met collega's in tal van landen.

Als AP Teamlead ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse werking van het Accounts Payable-team en zorg je ervoor dat alle leveranciersfacturen correct en tijdig verwerkt worden. Daarnaast neem je een voortrekkersrol op in de verdere optimalisatie en automatisering van de AP-processen.

Wat doe je als AP Teamlead?

Je combineert operationeel leiderschap met een sterke focus op procesverbetering en werkt nauw samen met verschillende interne stakeholders binnen Finance, Treasury, IT en de business.

Concreet betekent dit dat je:

  • een team van zes Accounts Payable Accountants aanstuurt, coacht en ondersteunt in hun verdere ontwikkeling;
  • de dagelijkse AP-processen bewaakt en zorgt voor een kwalitatieve en tijdige verwerking van leveranciersfacturen;
  • de operationele werkzaamheden organiseert, prioriteert en proactief knelpunten oplost;
  • het voortouw neemt in de verdere implementatie, optimalisatie en automatisering van de Accounts Payable-workflow;
  • procesverbeteringen initieert en werkwijzen verder standaardiseert;
  • toeziet op de naleving van interne controles, boekhoudkundige richtlijnen en auditvereisten;
  • samenwerkt met verschillende interne stakeholders om de financiële processen continu te verbeteren.

Wie ben je & wat zijn je skills?

Je bent een coachende leidinggevende die graag verantwoordelijkheid neemt en energie haalt uit het optimaliseren van processen. Je weet mensen te motiveren, behoudt het overzicht en communiceert vlot met verschillende stakeholders.

Daarnaast beschik je over:

  • een bachelor Accountancy of een gelijkwaardige opleiding;
  • minstens drie jaar leidinggevende ervaring binnen een transactionele accountingomgeving;
  • ervaring met procesoptimalisatie, idealiter binnen een internationale organisatie of een shared service center;
  • een goede kennis van btw-principes;
  • een vlotte kennis van Nederlands en Engels;
  • sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en ervaring in stakeholdermanagement;
  • een gestructureerde, nauwkeurige en hands-on manier van werken.

Ervaring met Microsoft Dynamics 365 en/of Power BI is mooi meegenomen.
