Als Application Development Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor het aansturen en coachen van een team van zeven softwareontwikkelaars. Samen met de IT Director bepaal je de technologische roadmap en zorg je voor een duidelijke structuur en richting. Je bent nauw betrokken bij architecturale keuzes en bewaakt de kwaliteit en veiligheid van de software.

Elke dag werk je samen met businessanalisten, solution architecten en systems engineers om de noden van de business te vertalen naar performante en schaalbare oplossingen. Je houdt de vinger aan de pols wat betreft operationele excellentie, softwarekwaliteit en innovatie. Je neemt actief deel aan code reviews, optimaliseert processen en ondersteunt je team bij technische uitdagingen.

  • Masterdiploma in Computer Science, ingenieurswetenschappen of vergelijkbare ervaring
  • Minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring in softwareontwikkeling
  • Minstens 3 jaar ervaring als technical lead, development manager of IT manager
  • Sterke coachende leiderschapsvaardigheden en ervaring met teamontwikkeling
  • Grondige kennis van moderne softwarearchitecturen, API's, cloudplatformen en DevOps (zoals .NET, React, SQL Server, AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Python)
  • Sterke focus op softwarekwaliteit, security en schaalbaarheid
  • Up-to-date met de nieuwste technologieën en innovaties
  • Vlotte communicatie in Nederlands en Engels; kennis van Frans is een plus
  • Ervaring met Agile/Scrum en tools als Jira en Confluence
