Ter versterking van het team zijn zij voor de site in de Haven van Antwerpen (Linkeroever) op zoek naar een Application Engineer die graag een carrière wil uitbouwen binnen een gerenommeerde, internationale marktleider met sterke groeiperspectieven.

Jouw taken:

· Bieden van technische productondersteuning aan de klant in samenwerking met Business Development, Product Management en Sales, gaande van de eerste productevaluatie en -kwalificatie tot procesoptimalisatie en het oplossen van mogelijke problemen of klachten.

· Verzamelen van beschikbare informatie of genereren van nieuwe gegevens in het applicatielab, opstellen van rapporten en presenteren van de gevraagde informatie aan de klant.

· Opzoeken en bestuderen van relevante literatuur en technieken, en deelnemen aan conferenties om je technische expertise te verbreden en verdiepen. De opgedane kennis vertalen naar praktische toepassingen en delen met collega's en klanten via presentaties en trainingen, zowel intern als extern.

· Ondersteunen bij de selectie en kwalificatie van nieuw laboratoriumapparatuur. Daarnaast kan je verantwoordelijk worden voor een specifieke installatie, waarbij je instaat voor het oplossen van problemen, het optimaliseren van methoden en het verder onderzoeken van de mogelijkheden van het apparaat.

· Streven naar continue verbetering om de bedrijfsprestaties op het hoogste niveau te houden, met inachtneming van de geldende kwaliteits-, milieu- en veiligheidsrichtlijnen.

· Master industrieel of burgerlijk ingenieur, bij voorkeur in chemie, natuurkunde, materiaalkunde of een aanverwante richting.

· Een doctoraat is een plus.

· Minimum 2 jaar relevante werkervaring als application engineer binnen een hoogtechnologische omgeving, de chemische sector of een onderzoekscentrum.

· Klantgericht, communicatief en oplossingsgericht.

· Een sterke teamplayer die collega’s, onderzoekspartners en klanten met elkaar verbindt.
