Van Moer Logistics is een groeiende logistieke dienstverlener, actief in transport en distributie, opslag, binnenvaartactiviteiten en tankcontainerlogistiek. Ons doel is om de logistieke processen van onze klanten naadloos te ondersteunen en te optimaliseren. Om deze groei te ondersteunen zoeken we een ervaren Application Manager op onze IT-afdeling.

Jouw rol

  • Als Application Manager heb je een heel breed en interessant takenpakket. Je staat met één been in onze IT-afdeling, en met het andere been in de operaties van jouw business unit, namelijk de Transport en/of Port & Intermodal.
  • Ook ben je SPOC van de applicatieleveranciers binnen jouw business unit.
  • Je schat de functionele applicatiebehoeften binnen jouw business unit in, en schrijft deze ook uit.
  • Het eerste en tweedelijn support bij applicatievragen en -fouten is jouw verantwoordelijkheid.
  • Je beheert upgrades, testscenario's en testplannen.
  • Je werkt integraties uit naar interne applicaties, klanten en stakeholders.
  • Het projectmanagement en -beheer van technologieprojecten binnen jouw business unit valt ook onder jouw beheer. Er staan in 2027 al enkele leuke projecten op de planning waar je vanaf de start aan mee mag werken.
  • Ons team van Application Managers heeft een Application Management Comité, waar jij ook lid van zal worden. Hier kunnen bijvoorbeeld moeilijkheden, informatie, expertise en best-practises met elkaar gedeeld worden.

Welk profiel zoeken we?

  • Je hebt ervaring met applicatiemanagement op portfolio basis, je bent dus al SPOC geweest van meerdere applicaties tegelijkertijd.
  • Je hebt al wat technische (IT) kennis opgebouwd.
  • Leveranciersonderhandelingen zijn jou niet onbekend.
  • Je bent sterk in het inschatten van prioriteiten en behoeften binnen een operationele omgeving.
  • Verwachtinsgmanagement heb je onder de knie.
  • Je bent hands-on, flexibel en je kan zelfstandig werken.
  • Je kan probleemoplossend en analytisch denken
  • Je bent vaak op de sites van jouw business unit te vinden, zodat je een goede feeling blijft behouden met de noden van- en wat leeft binnen de operaties. Deze sites bevinden zich veelal in de Antwerpse haven (Linker- en Rechteroever), maar zijn ook te vinden in de Kempen en regio Brussel.
  • Als je reeds kennis hebt van logistiek, dan is dit een mooi pluspunt.
  • De uren zijn flexibel, jouw planning en afspraken met de business maak jij zelf.
  • Je hebt een rijbewijs B.
  • Je spreekt goed Nederlands en Engels.
