The posting

Als Application Owner / Ops Engineer maak je deel uit van een development team waar multidisciplinair wordt samengewerkt. Elk team bestaat uit een scrum master, business/functioneel analisten, developers, testers, een product owner alsook een IT operations engineer.

Je beheert diverse businessapplicaties, staat in voor de goede werking en fungeert als SPOC. Je staat onder meer in contact met de helpdesk of technische expert in het kader van structurele problemen, met zowel IT als de business die op hun beurt de gebruikers vertegenwoordigen, alsook met externe partijen.

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor:

  • De opvolging van en rapportering over de componenten die van jouw team in productie draaien.
  • Het opvolgen van problemen in productie die gemeld worden door de business.
  • Het samen met het team zoeken naar de oorzaak en mogelijke oplossingen voor de problemen in productie.
  • Het mee helpen testen van de nieuw ontwikkelde software om te garanderen dat deze stabiel blijft werken.
  • Het testen en valideren van "fixes" voor problemen in productie.
  • Het bieden van ondersteuning bij de release.

Als teamlid werk je ook mee aan de ontwikkeling van deze business-applicaties. Je doet dit steeds in nauwe samenwerking met je collega-teamleden.

Je bent in staat om code te ontwikkelen of aan te passen, de nodige query’s op te stellen en analyses uit te voeren. Je maakt eveneens de bijhorende documentatie op.

Samen met het team sta je in voor de opvolging van de gemelde incidenten (cf. identificatie, analyse, correctie, testen). Ook is de communicatie met de klant hierin een belangrijk aspect.

In het kader van de lopende projecten treed je op als expert. Daarnaast sta je garant voor de continuïteit van de applicaties en ben je samen met je team verantwoordelijk voor en betrokken bij de kwalitatieve oplevering van de componenten.

Je geeft advies aan je IT-collega’s en gebruikers bij de ontwikkeling van nieuwe projecten in de domeinen en applicaties waarvoor je team verantwoordelijk is.

Profiel

Je behaalde een bachelor- of masterdiploma in de informatica of je kan een equivalente ervaring aantonen door ervaringen.

Je hebt ervaring in het schrijven van query’s.

Je hebt minimaal 2 jaar ervaring met MS Powershell, MS Windows Server, Active Directory, (Oracle) SQL.

Je deed praktische ervaring op met tools voor opvolging van projecten en tickets (Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, ...).

Je hebt een basiskennis in .NET en Dynatrace. Kennis van CI/CD pipelines, SOAP/Postman en Python vormt een pluspunt.

Je hebt ervaring in het werken in een scrum team en volgens scrum-methodologie.

Je bent communicatief en hebt uitstekende relationele vaardigheden. Je bent empathisch en gebruikt je inlevingsvermogen om je teamgenoten en businesspartners beter te begrijpen. Zo ben je eveneens klantgericht.

Je houdt van een uitdagende en afwisselende functie en weet om te gaan met de stress die met een release gepaard gaat. Met eigen initiatieven en de nodige creativiteit weet je vlot oplossingen voor te stellen. Je kan zowel autonoom als in teamverband werken.

Je neemt je verantwoordelijkheid binnen een project op en durft zelfstandig beslissingen nemen.

Je zin voor analyse en synthese stelt je in staat kwalitatief werk af te leveren, terwijl het respecteren van de termijnen een prioriteit blijft.

Je hebt een goede kennis van de tweede landstaal.
