The posting

Een vrachtwagen besturen is één ding. Weten hoe je veilig met materiaal en machines omgaat, de situatie op een werf correct inschatten én je handen uit de mouwen steken, maakt het verschil. Voor onze infrastructuurprojecten zoeken we een meewerkend chauffeur C/CE die graag onderweg is, maar ook actief wil meewerken op de werf. Je staat in voor het transport van verlichtingspalen en werkt samen met je collega's aan de plaatsing en vervanging van openbare verlichting.

Een functie voor iemand die graag verantwoordelijkheid neemt, technisch inzicht heeft en liever actief bezig is dan de hele dag achter het stuur te zitten.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je plaatst de nodige signalisatie en zorgt voor een veilige werkomgeving.
  • Je vervoert verlichtingspalen naar de verschillende werven.
  • Je laadt en lost materiaal met behulp van een autolaadkraan.
  • Je verwijdert oude verlichtingspalen met de kraan en voert voorbereidende graafwerken uit.
  • Je helpt bij het plaatsen van nieuwe verlichtingspalen.
  • Je voert eenvoudige elektrische werkzaamheden uit, zoals spanningsloos zetten, loskoppelen en aansluiten.
  • Je monteert standaard armaturen en werkt de installatie correct af.
  • Je werkt samen met je collega's volgens de geldende veiligheids- en kwaliteitsnormen.
  • Je denkt mee op de werf en grijpt in wanneer je een onveilige situatie of probleem opmerkt.

Waar ga je werken? Je maakt deel uit van een familiebedrijf met meer dan 90 jaar ervaring in elektrotechniek en nutsinfrastructuur. Met ongeveer 250 medewerkers wordt dagelijks gewerkt aan uiteenlopende infrastructuurprojecten in Vlaanderen en Noord-Frankrijk.

Je werkt voornamelijk in kleine, vaste ploegen waarbij samenwerking en veiligheid centraal staan. De organisatie investeert bovendien in opleiding en ontwikkeling, zodat je jouw kennis verder kan uitbreiden en bijkomende attesten kan behalen.

En de sfeer? Die stopt niet zodra de werkdag erop zit. Doorheen het jaar zijn er verschillende activiteiten, zoals een familiedag, zomer- of lentefeest, nieuwjaarsdrink en uitstappen met collega's. We zoeken iemand die zijn rijbewijs en ervaring kan combineren met een praktische ingesteldheid.

  • Je beschikt over een geldig rijbewijs C of CE. Code 95 is geen vereiste.
  • Je hebt ervaring met een autolaadkraan of bent bereid dit intern aan te leren.
  • Je hebt technisch inzicht en bent handig met machines en materiaal.
  • Een achtergrond in de bouw, infrastructuur of een technische omgeving is mooi meegenomen.
  • Je bent bereid om fysiek mee te werken op de werf.
  • Je werkt graag buiten en verschillende weersomstandigheden schrikken je niet af.
  • Je werkt veilig en denkt vooruit.
  • Je kan zelfstandig werken, maar functioneert ook goed binnen een vaste ploeg.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands of Engels.
  • Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor je eigen werk en materiaal.
