EVOKE BESTAAT20+ JAAR ! - KNA Veldwerk kna Sta jij het liefst midden in het archeologische onderzoek? Als KNA Archeoloog Veldwerk ontdek, documenteer en onderzoek je sporen uit het verleden op uiteenlopende locaties. Je combineert werken in de buitenlucht met inhoudelijke archeologie en ziet direct wat jouw onderzoek oplevert. Wat ga je doen? Als KNA Archeoloog Veldwerk ben je nauw betrokken bij de uitvoering van archeologisch onderzoek. Je werkt voor onze opdrachtgever aan proefsleuvenonderzoeken, archeologische begeleidingen en opgravingen op verschillende locaties in Nederland. In het veld herken en documenteer je archeologische sporen, vondsten en bodemlagen volgens de Kwaliteitsnorm Nederlandse Archeologie (KNA). Je houdt onderzoeksgegevens zorgvuldig bij en denkt mee over de interpretatie van wat tijdens het veldwerk wordt aangetroffen. Daarbij werk je volgens het Programma van Eisen (PvE) en het Plan van Aanpak (PvA). Na het veldwerk stopt jouw onderzoek niet. Je verwerkt gegevens, analyseert vondsten en sporen en draagt bij aan evaluatie- en eindrapportages. Daarbij leg je verbanden tussen de resultaten uit het veld, historische informatie en eerder archeologisch onderzoek. Je krijgt de mogelijkheid om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen binnen bepaalde perioden, regio's of materiaalcategorieën. Ook werk je met digitale registratiesystemen en GIS-data om onderzoeksresultaten goed vast te leggen. Zo combineert de functie praktisch veldwerk met onderzoek, analyse en rapportage en bouw je verder aan jouw expertise als KNA-archeoloog.
