Wij zijn altijd op zoek naar mensen om ons team te versterken. Wij zijn op zoek naar een veelzijdige architect. Ben jij leergierig, enthousiast en onderzoekend? Heb je naast architectuur affiniteit met stedenbouw, landschapsontwerp en/of ontwerpend onderzoek? En spreekt het je aan om de rijkheid en diversiteit van het ontwerpvak verder te verkennen binnen een compact team? Dan maken wij graag kennis met jou. Wie zijn wij? Studio Marco Vermeulen is een ontwerpbureau voor architectuur, stedenbouw, landschap en ontwerpend onderzoek. Wij zijn gevestigd op een bijzondere locatie aan de Maas in het centrum van Rotterdam. Wij werken aan opgaven waarin maatschappelijk vraagstukken zoals de energietransitie, klimaatadaptatie, biobased economy en biodiversiteit worden verbonden aan ruimtelijke kwaliteit. Onze projecten variëren in schaal, van groot tot klein, en juist in de wisselwerking tussen die schalen vinden we ontwerpkracht. Inzichten uit grotere systemen vertalen zich naar concrete ontwerpen en andersom. Biobased en circulair bouwen staan centraal in ons werk. Op dit moment werken we onder andere aan het ontwerp van meerdere musea en tentoonstellingen, het rivierfront in Rotterdam en doen we ontwerpend onderzoek naar landschappelijk wonen. Wie ben jij? • Je bent creatief, neemt initiatief en hebt een onderzoekende houding; • Je bent communicatief sterk en weet ideeën helder over te brengen in beeld en woord; • Je werkt gestructureerd en overziet onderdelen in samenhang; • Je hebt een afgeronde opleiding Architectuur (TU of Academie van Bouwkunst); • Je beheerst de Nederlandse taal; • Je hebt bij voorkeur minimaal 3 jaar bureau-ervaring; • Je beschikt over sterke grafische vaardigheden en hebt ervaring met o.a. Sketch-Up, Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, Enscape en/of D5.
