Als Area Sales Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor het onderhouden en uitbreiden van nationale en internationale commerciële activiteiten (focus op België en Nederland). Je combineert accountmanagement met business development en werkt actief mee aan de verdere groei van hun productaanbod.

  • Het beheren van een bestaande klantenportefeuille: Je neemt een bestaande, historische klantenportefeuille over en beheert deze actief (up- en cross-selling).
  • Ontwikkeling van nieuwe markten: Je identificeert en ontwikkelt nieuwe marktkansen in regio’s en/of marktsegmenten met een groot groeipotentieel. Je prospecteert actief nieuwe klanten en bouwt duurzame partnerships op.
  • Business development en productontwikkeling: Je denkt actief mee over de ontwikkeling van nieuwe producten en toepassingen. Je signaleert markttrends en vertaalt deze naar commerciële opportuniteiten.

Dit heb je nodig voor de job

  • Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands met een goede kennis van het Frans en Engels (Nederlandstalige werkomgeving)
  • Je kan aantonen dat je een technische achtergrond hebt of nog beter, dat je ervaring hebt binnen hun sector (textiel, technische non-wovens)
  • Je begrijpt industriële productieprocessen waardoor je gemakkelijk oplossingen kunt bedenken
  • Je hebt ervaring binnen een technische B2B sales functie
  • Je bent bereid om je te verplaatsen in België en Nederland

De ideale collega is...

  • Je hebt een technische achtergrond, bij voorkeur in de sector van de vilt industrie.
  • Je bent ondernemend, zelfstandig en ziet opportuniteiten om nieuwe markten en toepassingen te ontwikkelen.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands, Frans en Engels. Kennis van bijkomende talen is een plus.
  • Je bent bereid om klanten te bezoeken en, indien nodig, enkele nachten buitenshuis te overnachten.
