FUNCTIE

Je staat in voor de artistieke leiding van het Kinderkoor in al zijn facetten. Door audities, opleiding en repetities houd je het Kinderkoor op een hoog niveau teneinde kwalitatieve voorstellingen en concerten te realiseren.

Binnen de artistieke omkadering van het muziekdepartement werk je nauw samen met de coördinator van het Kinderkoor, de manager muziek, de koor- en orkestregie, de koorleider, het productieteam, de muziekdirecteur en gastdirigenten.

Je bouwt en onderhoudt een duurzame vertrouwensband met de leden van het Kinderkoor

en hun ouders. Het gaat over schoolgaande kinderen voor wie het koor een vrijetijdsbesteding is met een belangrijke pedagogische waarde. Je zorgt ervoor, met inachtneming van hun welzijn en met het oog op hun persoonlijke ontwikkeling, dat zij als betrouwbare partners een mooie bijdrage kunnen leveren aan voorstellingen en concerten in het kader van een grote professionele culturele instelling.

VERANTWOORDELIJKHEDEN & TAKEN

  • optimaal voorbereiden van het Kinderkoor op voorstellingen en concerten. Bestuderen en analyseren van de partituur, voorbereiden van de instudering door het koor, van repetities, van eventuele stem- en groepsindelingen. Leiden van de repetities met gedreven opbouw naar toneel-, orkestrepetities en voorstellingen. Aanwezig zijn, begeleiden en bijwerken van het Kinderkoor doorheen het traject van repetities en voorstellingen.
  • het Kinderkoor en zijn individuele leden opleiden. Elke gelegenheid te baat nemen om te werken aan de groei van elk kind, maar ook van het koor als groep op muzikaal, vocaal en artistiek vlak. Motivatie en communicatie zijn hier de sleutels.
  • opmaken van de planning van het Kinderkoor in overleg met de coördinator. Om het Kinderkoor optimaal te laten functioneren binnen het grote kader van Opera Ballet Vlaanderen een planning opstellen die helder en werkbaar is voor ouders.
  • regelmatig organiseren van audities, waarna ouders en kinderen geïnformeerd worden over de werking, het engagement en het pedagogisch traject.

PROFIEL

  • je bent een leider.
  • je bent empathisch
  • je hebt pedagogisch talent en je bent een idealist
  • liefde voor taal en podiumkunsten
  • je bent praktisch ingesteld en kan snel aanpassingen en oplossingen uitwerken
  • je hebt minstens 5 jaar ervaring in opera/muziektheater/zang/koor
  • ervaring in het artistieke leiderschap van een kinderkoor
  • bachelor of master in muziek (zang en/of piano en/of koordirectie)
