RevArte maakt deel uit van de zorggroep MKL vzw, bestaande uit revalidatieziekenhuis RevArte te Edegem, woonzorgcentrum Hof ten Dorpe te Wommelgem en Zorgcampus Hof te Schelde te Antwerpen Linkeroever. We werken elke dag aan het verbeteren van de leefwaarde van onze revalidanten en bewoners. Dit doen we op basis van evidence-based practice en practice-based evidence. Het is die focus en passie die wordt gedragen door onze 600 collega’s binnen MKL en ervoor zorgt dat we ons een vaste waarde mogen noemen binnen de zorg. Revalidatieziekenhuis RevArte biedt gespecialiseerde revalidatiezorg aan gehospitaliseerde en ambulante patiënten met een niet-aangeboren hersenletsel (NAH), locomotorische problematiek, dwarslaesie en amputatie. Onze hospitalisatieafdeling bestaat uit 4 Sp-afdelingen (122 bedden), 1 centrum voor jonge revalidanten met 20 Sp-bedden, en 2 geriatrie-afdelingen (52 bedden). De doktersassociatie RevArte bestaat uit 7 artsen, waaronder 3 artsen fysische geneeskunde en revalidatie, en 4 internist-geriaters die samen de revalidatiezorg sturen en de medisch internistische opvolging verzekeren.

Een nieuwe uitdaging

We zoeken een enthousiaste collega–arts met specialisatie fysische geneeskunde en revalidatie voor wie een prettige samenwerking in multidisciplinair teamverband belangrijk is. Binnen deze samenwerking is er aandacht voor een kwaliteitsvolle zorg en voor een goede en duidelijke communicatie zowel met patiënten, familie als medewerkers.

Je zal de verantwoordelijkheid dragen over gehospitaliseerde patiënten op Sp-afdelingen en ambulante revalidanten.

Is het iets voor jou?

We zoeken een arts-specialist die gespecialiseerd is in fysische geneeskunde en revalidatie, met een erkenning in locomotorische en/of neurologische revalidatie.

We verwachten verder:

  • een bijzondere interesse in revalidatie van patiënten met NAH, dwarslaesie, polytrauma
  • bereidheid tot consultaties
  • Bekwaming in EMG, echografie en infiltraties (articulaire, botuline toxine, peesbehandelingen) is een pluspunt
  • Deelname aan wachtdiensten (thuiswacht), gelijkmatig verdeeld onder de artsen
  • Participatie aan diverse ziekenhuisactiviteiten, zowel medisch als in kwaliteitsgebeuren, om Sp-diensten verder uit te bouwen en hoogstaande zorg aan te bieden
