Ben jij arts en wil je bijdragen aan baanbrekend wetenschappelijk onderzoek binnen infectieziekten en vaccinontwikkeling? Voor een tijdelijke opdracht binnen een gerenommeerd onderzoekscentrum zijn we op zoek naar een gemotiveerde Arts-Onderzoeker Klinische Studies. Je komt terecht in een innovatieve omgeving waar klinische studies met gezonde vrijwilligers centraal staan en waar je dagelijks samenwerkt met een multidisciplinair team van experten.

Als Arts-Onderzoeker maak je deel uit van een interdisciplinair team bestaande uit artsen, onderzoekers, verpleegkundigen, studiecoördinatoren en laboranten. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de medische opvolging en uitvoering van klinische studies en levert een belangrijke bijdrage aan het wetenschappelijk onderzoek.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Opstellen, nalezen en opvolgen van studieprotocollen.
  • Instaan voor de medische aspecten van klinische studies.
  • Informeren en adviseren van potentiële studiedeelnemers.
  • Beoordelen van de medische geschiktheid van vrijwilligers.
  • Uitvoeren van klinische onderzoeken en staalafnames.
  • Interpreteren en opvolgen van onderzoeksresultaten, waaronder laboratoriumuitslagen.
  • Medische opvolging van deelnemers en eventuele bijwerkingen.
  • Correct en kwaliteitsvol rapporteren van studie- en veiligheidsgegevens.
  • Wetenschappelijk beoordelen van studiedocumentatie en onderzoeksresultaten.
  • Uitwerken, actualiseren en opvolgen van Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
  • Participeren aan wachtdiensten voor koudeketenbeheer en medische opvolging van deelnemers.
  • Tijdens CHIM-studies deelnemen aan weekendwerk volgens planning.
  • Masterdiploma Geneeskunde.
  • Ingeschreven bij de Orde der Artsen.
  • Interesse in klinisch onderzoek, vaccinontwikkeling en infectieziekten.
  • Goede kennis van Microsoft 365 en gangbare IT-toepassingen.
  • Vlotte kennis van het Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • Sterke organisatorische vaardigheden en een nauwkeurige werkhouding.
  • Positieve, communicatieve en leergierige ingesteldheid.
  • Kwaliteitsgericht, integer en samenwerkingsgericht.
  • Affiniteit met wetenschappelijk onderzoek en academische onderzoeksomgevingen is een belangrijke troef.
