In Zeeland staan we voor bijzondere uitdagingen: een lage vaccinatiegraad, vergrijzing, toerisme en strategische 'points of entry' (B-havens). Als arts Maatschappij en Gezondheid heb je een sleutelrol in het aanpakken van deze vraagstukken. Jouw werk draait om de Wet Publieke Gezondheid en omvat: - Verantwoordelijkheid voor een actief beleid in de opsporing van infectieziekten, bron- en contactonderzoek en actieve surveillance; - Het ontwikkelen en implementeren van beleid op jouw vakgebied op medisch terrein: het actualiseren en/of opstellen van regelingen, procesbeschrijvingen, werkafspraken. - Het bouwen en onderhouden van een sterk netwerk met professionals en instellingen. - Het geven van voorlichting en adviezen aan inwoners en organisaties in de regio over preventie en risico's rondom infectieziekten en seksuele gezondheid. - Deelname aan de bereikbaarheidsdienst voor infectieziektebestrijding.
