Begeleidt cliënten gericht bij gewichtsverandering, samen met een leefstijlcoach en deskundig team. Jouw nieuwe baan Hier volg je patiënten niet een paar dagen, maar gedurende een compleet behandeltraject van 5 jaar. Als basisarts begeleid je mensen met ernstige obesitas bij gewichtsreductie en -stabilisatie. Je combineert daarbij internistische, chirurgische en psychosociale zorg. Tijdens de screening voer je diagnostiek uit en bespreek je welke behandeling passend is. Je geeft individuele en groepssessies en volgt patiënten gedurende hun traject. Ook na een bariatrische ingreep blijf je betrokken. Bij klachten voer je medische triage uit en via de medische telefoon beantwoord je vragen voor én na de operatie. Binnen het multidisciplinaire team werk je nauw samen met collega's uit verschillende vakgebieden. Korte lijnen maken overleg eenvoudig. Een zorgvuldige inwerkperiode helpt je om snel vertrouwd te raken met de werkwijze. Daarnaast verdiep je je via scholing en kennisdeling verder in obesitas, leefstijl en gedragsverandering. Nieuwe inzichten pas je direct toe in de dagelijkse praktijk. Verder denk je mee over de inhoud van de zorg en over werkprocessen. Zo draag je bij aan begeleiding die aansluit bij de cliënt en gericht blijft op duurzame verandering. Jouw nieuwe werkplek Samen met collega's werk je in een kliniek waar cliënten stap voor stap worden begeleid bij overgewicht en leefstijlverandering.
