Amsterdam UMC · Amsterdam Intro Wil jij bijdragen aan betere diagnostiek en prognose van dementie? Onderzoek hoe verschillende ziekteprocessen de cognitieve achteruitgang beïnvloeden en werk mee aan wetenschappelijke inzichten die de patiëntenzorg verbeteren. Wat ga je doen? Als arts-onderzoeker of promovendus maak je deel uit van een landelijk onderzoeksconsortium. Je werkt samen met onderzoekers en neurologen binnen Amsterdam UMC en andere academische ziekenhuizen. Je combineert klinisch georiënteerd dementieonderzoek met data-analyse en wetenschappelijk schrijven. Je belangrijkste taken zijn: - Het verzamelen en analyseren van longitudinale gegevens binnen het Amsterdam Dementia Cohort, het belangrijkste cohort van Alzheimercentrum Amsterdam. - Het uitvoeren van statistische analyses van gecombineerde biomarkerresultaten, met de nadruk op de prognose bij gemengde hersenpathologie. - Het schrijven van wetenschappelijke artikelen die bijdragen aan je promotietraject. - Het actief deelnemen aan wetenschappelijke bijeenkomsten van het TAP-consortium, Alzheimercentrum Amsterdam en Amsterdam UMC, en aan internationale bijeenkomsten en congressen. - Het meedraaien op de geheugenpolikliniek van Alzheimercentrum Amsterdam. In overleg is er ook ruimte voor klinische werkzaamheden op de afdeling Neurologie van Amsterdam UMC. Wat neem je mee?
