Wil je bijdragen aan in innovatief onderzoek en klinische zorg binnen structurele hartziekten? Dit promotietraject biedt jou de unieke kans om je verder te ontwikkelen en bij te dragen aan vooruitgang in hartklepinterventies. De beoogde startdatum is 1 oktober 2026. Als arts promovendus in ons team ben je betrokken bij (advanced) imaging rondom katheter-gebonden hartklepprocedures. Je evalueert en volgt patiënten op binnen het kleppenprogramma, zowel klinisch als poliklinisch. Ook heb je directe interactie met industriële partners en krijg je toegang tot de nieuwste ontwikkelingen op het gebied van structurele hartinterventies. Daarnaast: - Werk je samen met specialisten binnen het kleppenteam en draag je actief bij aan overleg en procedureplanning. - Bouw je een solide onderzoeksbasis op, leer je wetenschappelijke manuscripten schrijven en draagt je bij aan publicaties. - Krijg je de kans om te presenteren op (inter)nationale congressen en meetings. Werkomgeving In onze innovatieve setting staat de behandeling van patiënten met structurele hartziekten centraal. Ons onderzoek richt zich op het optimaliseren van beeldvorming, patiëntselectie en procedure uitvoering van katheter-gebonden structurele hartinterventies. Hierbij ligt de nadruk op aortaklepvervanging (TAVI), mitraalklep- en tricuspiedklepherstel of -vervanging (TEER, TMVR, TTVR). Wat deze werkomgeving uniek maakt, is de integratie van klinische praktijk en wetenschappelijk onderzoek. Je werkt binnen een team van 3 stafleden en 4 research fellows. Profiel - Je bent afgestudeerd als arts of onderzoeker in opleiding tot arts en hebt interesse in cardiologie. - Je bent gedreven om een PhD te behalen. - Naast wetenschappelijk werk wil je betrokken blijven bij klinische zorg. - Je bent energiek en gemotiveerd.
