De functie | Arts Verstandelijk Gehandicapten Als arts VG richt je je aandacht op een breed terrein van de geneeskunde; onze cliënten kunnen aandoeningen hebben op allerlei gezondheidsgebieden. Vanuit jouw deskundigheid ben je in staat zowel gezondheids- en gedragsproblematiek te behandelen, en hierover adviezen te geven aan de cliënt, cliëntvertegenwoordigers, professionele begeleiders, gedragskundigen en andere artsen die betrokken zijn bij de behandeling. Hierbij staat de vraag van de cliënt en/of wettelijk vertegenwoordiger centraal. Tevens onderhoud je contacten met ziekenhuizen en andere instellingen in de gezondheidszorg in de regio. Je komt in een team terecht van basisartsen, huisartsen, praktijkverpleegkundigen, verpleegkundig specialisten en VIOS en het medisch secretariaat Aan hen geef je functioneel leiding en met hen werk je intensief samen. Zij ondersteunen je op een dusdanige wijze dat jij je kunt richten op de vakinhoud. Samen draag je zorg voor goede medische zorg waarbij jij je vooral bezighoudt met het specialistische AVG gedeelte; de kern van jouw functie. Met de vakgroep artsen kom je regelmatig bijeen om over lopende zaken, casuïstiek, scholing en nieuwe ontwikkelingen te discussiëren. Er is structureel overleg met de teammanager Behandeling en de bestuurders waarbij o.a. de toekomstvisie van de dienst Behandeling binnen de organisatie besproken wordt. Samen willen we komen tot een medisch beleid waarbij recht gedaan wordt aan de verschillende doelgroepen binnen onze zorg. Jouw inbreng, kennis en AVG-expertise is daarbij van wezenlijk belang.
