Als Assemblagemonteur Machinebouw ben jij degene die de ontwerpen tot leven brengt. Je werkt aan complete verpakkingslijnen die straks bij klanten in binnen- en buitenland worden geïnstalleerd. Je begint met het lezen en interpreteren van technische tekeningen en stuklijsten, waarna je aan de slag gaat met het monteren van mechanische componenten, frames en transportbanden. Je werkt nauw samen met collega's uit de assemblage en engineering, en stemt regelmatig af over de voortgang en eventuele aanpassingen. Ervaren monteurs begeleiden je in het begin en laten je stapsgewijs meer zelfstandig werken. Je leert gaandeweg steeds meer over de specifieke eisen die gelden voor machines in de voedingsindustrie, zoals hygiëne-eisen en veiligheidsvoorschriften. Jouw werkzaamheden in het kort: - Assembleren van mechanische onderdelen volgens technische tekeningen en werkinstructies; - Monteren van frames, transportbanden, weeginstallaties en andere componenten van verpakkingslijnen; - Samenwerken met collega-monteurs en engineers om de beste oplossingen te realiseren; - Uitvoeren van kwaliteitscontroles en functionele tests op gemonteerde onderdelen; - Signaleren van afwijkingen en deze bespreken met je leidinggevende of collega's; - Bijdragen aan verbeteringen in het assemblageproces door actief mee te denken; - Zorgen voor een nette en veilige werkomgeving op de werkvloer.

Doorgroeimogelijkheden zijn volop aanwezig. Naarmate je meer ervaring opdoet, kun je doorgroeien naar een rol als ervaren monteur of zelfs voorman assemblage. Ook is er ruimte om je te specialiseren in specifieke technieken, zoals pneumatiek of besturingstechniek, of om mee te gaan met installatieteams naar klanten voor het opbouwen en testen van de machines op locatie.
