Als Assistant Group Controller bij Danieli Corus combineer je internationale groepsrapportage met financiële analyses voor vier buitenlandse entiteiten. Je werkt direct samen met de CFO, krijgt ruimte voor eigen initiatief en ontwikkelt je verder op het snijvlak van Financial Control en Business Control. Functieomschrijving Danieli Corus is onderdeel van de Italiaanse Danieli Group en ontwerpt en realiseert wereldwijd installaties voor de staalindustrie. Als Assistant Group Controller ben je verantwoordelijk voor betrouwbare en tijdige financiële rapportages over de entiteiten in Nederland, Duitsland, India en China aan het Italiaanse moederbedrijf. Je maakt deel uit van het Nederlandse financiële team, dat met jouw komst uit vijf professionals bestaat. De werksfeer is nuchter en praktisch, met korte lijnen en ruimte voor eigen initiatief. Je werkt direct samen met de CFO, met wie je financiële vraagstukken, analyses en verbeterinitiatieven bespreekt. Het zwaartepunt van je functie ligt bij financiële verslaggeving, groepsrapportage en consolidatie. Je bent betrokken bij de maand- en jaarafsluitingen, forecast, jaarplan en controleert balansposities en ondersteunt bij de jaarrekening. Daarnaast bewaak je de aansluiting tussen de lokale administraties en groepsrapportages en analyseer je intercompanyposities, onderhanden werk en projectresultaten. Hierbij speelt resultaatverantwoording op basis van projectvoortgang een belangrijke rol. Je kijkt kritisch naar de kwaliteit van de financiële informatie en neemt initiatief om rapportages, processen en interne controles te verbeteren. Daarnaast analyseer je resultaten ten opzichte van budgetten en prognoses, vertaal je financiële ontwikkelingen naar bruikbare inzichten en draag je bij aan budgettering en cashflowplanning.
