Assistent begeleider intensieve zorg Wil jij werken op een plek waar het gewone leven centraal staat, met ritme, contact en kleine stappen vooruit? Als Assistent begeleider intensieve zorg werk je in een woon‑ en dagcentrum waar volwassenen met een matige tot (zeer) ernstige verstandelijke beperking wonen en hun dag beleven. Je werkt op een woon‑ en dagcentrum in Hoofddorp met meerdere woningen en een eigen dagbesteding op hetzelfde terrein. De omgeving is licht, overzichtelijk en rustig ingericht, met ook buiten ruimte om te bewegen en te ontspannen. Cliënten hebben een intensieve zorgvraag, soms in combinatie met complex gedrag. Er wordt gewerkt met een vaste dagindeling, duidelijke afspraken en kleine, haalbare doelen. Communicatie verloopt via woorden, gebaren of pictogrammen. Je werkt in kleine, hechte teams, met korte lijnen, humor en veel samenwerking. Je start je dienst samen met de begeleider. Je begint bij Nora (34). Zij heeft een ernstige verstandelijke beperking en is volledig afhankelijk van ondersteuning bij de dagelijkse zorg. Jij helpt bij de persoonlijke verzorging en zorgt dat alles rustig en veilig verloopt. Later ondersteun je Samir (27), die gevoelig is voor prikkels. Je helpt bij een overgangsmoment en blijft nabij wanneer hij onrustig wordt. Met jouw duidelijke aanwezigheid en regie en een vaste aanpak voorkom je dat spanning oploopt. In de loop van de dag help je Ellen (49) bij een eenvoudige beweegactiviteit op de woning. Je spart met de begeleider, observeert gedrag en meldt bijzonderheden. Je zorgt dat de leefomgeving netjes en overzichtelijk blijft en ondersteunt waar nodig bij eten, drinken en rustmomenten. Aan het einde van je dienst draag je zorgvuldig over. De cliënten zijn verzorgd, er is rust op de groep en jij weet: ook als assistent begeleider maak je binnen de 24‑uurszorg elke dag verschil.
