Als Assistent Category Manager ben jij de onmisbare rechterhand van de Category Manager. Samen zorgen we voor een aantrekkelijk, winstgevend en klantgericht assortiment zowel in de winkels als online. Jij schakelt soepel tussen Excel en Klantinzichten, tussen schappenplannen en leveranciersoverleggen.

Je komt te werken in een team waarin je samenwerkt met een Category Manager en collega Assistent Category Managers. Verder ben je deel van een team specialisten dat zich bezighoudt met ‘jullie’ productgroepen. In zo’n team zitten onder andere Inkopers, Planners, E-commerce- en online specialisten, Spacemanagers en Datamanagers. Ook werk je veel samen met Marketing & Communicatie.

Je bent onder meer verantwoordelijk voor:

  • je ondersteunt bij het samenstellen, beheren en optimaliseren van het assortiment.
  • je analyseert verkoopcijfers, marktontwikkelingen en klantgedrag om commerciële kansen te signaleren.
  • je beheert en helpt bij het maken van de promotiekalender.
  • je bewaakt de voortgang van promoties, introducties en acties
  • je zorgt dat de commerciële productdata volledig, correct en omnichannel-proof is.
  • je hebt nauw contact met leveranciers, e-commerce, logistiek en marketing om de operatie soepel te laten verlopen.
  • je denkt proactief mee over procesverbeteringen en commerciële kansen.

Wat breng je mee:

Je hoeft geen ervaren klusser of interieurstylist te zijn om bij Gamma te werken. Wel verdiep je je graag in ons assortiment en krijg je energie van een commerciële functie. Je houdt ervan om te werken aan eigen verantwoordelijkheden en taken. Communicatief sterk, flexibel en ondernemend zijn termen die jou goed beschrijven. In ons ideaalplaatje past verder:

  • Bachelor werk- en denkniveau
  • Aantoonbare ervaring in retail.
  • Je schakelt makkelijk tussen systemen (Excel, ERP) en hebt een hands-on mentaliteit.
  • Ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie is mooi meegenomen, geen vereiste.
  • Rijbewijs B is een pluspunt.
