In AZ Turnhout bieden we je de mogelijkheden van een groot ziekenhuis, gecombineerd met het persoonlijke karakter van een klein ziekenhuis. In 2027 beginnen we te bouwen aan ons ‘Gasthuis in het groen’: een gloednieuw ziekenhuis op campus Sint-Jozef waar we alle diensten van de huidige twee campussen (Sint-Elisabeth en Sint-Jozef) samenbrengen.

Functie

  • Je hoofdtaak bestaat uit het ontwerpen van individuele behandelingsplanningen radiotherapie (computergestuurd) en het mee uitvoeren, analyseren en opvolgen van verschillende patiënt-specifieke kwaliteitscontroles.
  • In nauwe samenwerking met de radiotherapeut en fysici, sta je bestralingsverpleegkundigen bij omtrent vragen rond bestralingstechnieken en patiëntpositionering en neem je deel aan diverse projecten ter optimalisatie van de kwaliteit van de radiotherapie.
  • Je voert mee kwaliteitscontroles van apparatuur uit, volgens de geldende procedures.
  • Als Assistent Medische Stralingsfysica werk je onder de directe verantwoordelijkheid van een erkend deskundige in de medische stralingsfysica (MPE). Je volgt goedgekeurde instructies en procedures op.
  • Je werkt in een multidisciplinair team van radiotherapeuten, radiotherapie-verpleegkundigen, technologen en erkende deskundigen in de stralingsfysica.
  • Je werkt 80, 90 of 100% (bespreekbaar).
  • Je werkt in daguren (glijtijd) en er is geen weekendwerk.

Profiel

  • Je bent in het bezit van een bachelorsdiploma, bij voorkeur een bachelor Technoloog Medische Beeldvorming.
  • Je bent bereid een opleiding van 20 studiepunten, gericht op de fysisch – technische aspecten van de radiotherapie, te volgen en hiervoor te slagen zoals wordt opgelegd door het KB Medische Toepassingen.
  • Je bent bereid je kennis op peil te houden d.m.v. permante vorming, zoals omschreven in het KB Medische Toepassingen.
  • Je bent administratief sterk, hebt interesse in technologie en kan goed overweg met recente informatica-toepassingen en de verwerking van digitale gegevens.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, hebt aandacht voor details en volgt interne procedures nauw op.
  • Je kan zowel zelfstandig als in een (multidisciplinair) team werken.
  • Je bent patiëntgericht, discreet en draagt op een actieve en innoverende wijze bij tot onze ‘Gast-in-ons-huis’ visie.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk en werkt efficiënt en kwaliteitsvol.
  • Je bent leergierig en streeft naar voortdurende verbetering.
  • Je bent flexibel en staat open voor verandering.
