Als rechterhand van de Operations Manager ben je de verbindende schakel tussen planning, kantoor, voormannen en uitvoering. Je bewaakt de voortgang van werkzaamheden, zorgt voor een goede afstemming tussen betrokken partijen en draagt bij aan een veilige en efficiënte operatie. In de praktijk betekent dit het volgende: - Je coördineert en bewaakt de dagelijkse op- en overslag op de kade en in de loodsen, zodat schepen en vrachtwagens veilig en op tijd worden geladen en gelost. - Je ondersteunt de voormannen bij de uitvoering van het werk, zodat zij hun ploegen soepel door de dag heen loodsen. - Je zorgt voor een goede afstemming tussen de collega's van de planning, kantoor en buiten, zodat iedereen weet welk schip er komt, welke goederen er verwerkt worden en wat er die dag moet gebeuren. - Je bereidt werkzaamheden voor en plant ze in, van de aankomst van een schip tot de opslag van de lading in de juiste loods - Je zorgt voor een optimale inzet van collega's en materieel. - Of het nu gaat om een vertraagd schip, een storing aan een kraan of een krappe bezetting, je signaleert knelpunten in de operatie vroegtijdig en lost ze op. - Je ondersteunt bij toolboxmeetings en draagt bij aan een goede samenwerking binnen het team. - Je ziet toe op de naleving van de veiligheids-, kwaliteits- en milieuregels, zodat er veilig wordt gewerkt met de machines én zorgvuldig wordt omgegaan met de producten van onze klanten. - Je signaleert verbeterkansen en ...
