Bij Standaard Boekhandel, één van de grootste en meest geliefde boekhandelsketens van België, zijn we op zoek naar een gedreven assistent teamleader voor ons verzendingsteam. In deze cruciale rol ondersteun jij de teamleader bij het aansturen van het team, zorg je ervoor dat elke bestelling met de grootste nauwkeurigheid en tijdigheid wordt voorbereid voor onze diverse winkels. Jij bewaakt de flow, motiveert je collega's en zorgt ervoor dat duizenden boeken dagelijks hun juiste bestemming bereiken.

Jobomschrijving

Als assistent teamleader werk je actief mee op de verzendingsafdeling, waar boeken via genummerde bakken (elk gekoppeld aan een specifieke winkel) worden gesorteerd en klaargemaakt voor transport. Tegelijk ondersteun je de dagelijkse werking van het team.

Je:

  • Stuurt mee het team aan en fungeert als back-up van de teamleader
  • Volgt de planning en werking van de afdeling op
  • Bewaakt de logistieke flow, zodat elke bestelling correct en tijdig wordt samengesteld
  • Leidt nieuwe medewerkers mee op
  • Controleert de kwaliteit van het sorteer- en verpakkingsproces
  • Zorgt ervoor dat veiligheids- en werkprocedures correct worden nageleefd

We zoeken een assistent teamleader die:

  • Ervaring heeft in een logistieke omgeving
  • Een eerste ervaring in leidinggeven heeft (of klaar is voor die stap)
  • Hands-on is en graag meewerkt op de vloer
  • Sterk is in organisatie en communicatie
  • Flexibel, stressbestendig en servicegericht is
  • Vlot Nederlands spreekt
  • Kennis heeft van PC en systemen
