Je bent de spil tussen de klanten, vervoerders en chauffeurs. Je kan de planning verzorgen van ons eigen materiaal, maar ook als expediteur het transport uitbesteden bij de juiste partijen. Kan je dit nog niet, geen probleem! Iemand die het vak wil leren is ook welkom. Wat ga je doen? Als logistiek medewerker op de afdeling Warehouse & Distribution ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het soepel laten verlopen van de transporten. Je onderhoudt dagelijks contact met interne en externe klanten, vervoerders en chauffeurs en zorgt ervoor dat iedereen over de juiste informatie beschikt. Je vraagt tarieven op en geeft deze af, coördineert en bewaakt de zendingen en houdt deadlines nauwlettend in de gaten. Je bent proactief in het opvolgen van transporten en zorgt ervoor dat eventuele bijzonderheden tijdig worden gesignaleerd en opgelost. Daarnaast verzorg je de facturatie van behandelde zendingen en voer je een eerste controle uit op de inkoopfacturen. Je zorgt voor de volledige administratieve afwikkeling en digitale verwerking van zendingen, conform de vastgestelde richtlijnen en procedures. Een keer per maand draai je een bereikbaarheidsdienst in het weekend. Zo draag je samen met je collega's bij aan een betrouwbare en klantgerichte logistieke dienstverlening.
