Wil je doorgroeien naar een leidinggevende rol in retail, maar hoef je vandaag nog geen manager te zijn? Bij Okay start je als assistent winkelmanager in opleiding en leer je al doende, met veel coaching en ondersteuning.

Wat doe je als assistent winkelmanager bij Okay:

Samen met de winkelmanager zorg je ervoor dat de winkel vlot draait en een fijne plek is voor klanten en collega’s.

± 80%: meewerken in de winkel

  • Klanten vriendelijk verder helpen
  • Meedraaien aan kassa, aanvulling rekken, bakkerijactiviteiten, waaronder het afbakken van (diepvries)bakkerijproducten en de aanvul in de bakkerij-afdeling.
  • Zorgen voor orde, kwaliteit en een verzorgde winkel
  • Collega’s ondersteunen tijdens drukke momenten
  • Je leert elke dag bij over het reilen en zeilen van een buurtsupermarkt

± 20%: plannen, organiseren en collega's begeleiden (in groei)

  • Mee instaan voor dagplanning en werkverdeling
  • Collega's, enthousiasmeren begeleiden en motiveren
  • Problemen op de winkelvloer helpen oplossen
  • Op termijn de winkelmanager vervangen bij afwezigheid

Belangrijk: je wordt hierin intensief ondersteund via opleiding, coaching on the job en feedback. Je hoeft vandaag nog niet alles te kennen of te kunnen.

  • Je beschikt over een vlotte kennis van het Nederlands
  • Je durft verantwoordelijkheid nemen en beslissingen maken je niet onzeker
  • Je hebt ervaring in retail, food, horeca of bent gelijkwaardig vanuit opleiding in hotel, eventplanning, retailmanagement, ...
  • Je werkt graag samen, neemt spontaan initiatief en communiceert vlot
  • Je houdt van een praktische aanpak en leert graag al doende
  • Weekendwerk en variabele uren zijn voor jou haalbaar (ruim op voorhand gepland)
  • Je woont op bereikbare afstand van de winkel en bent flexibel inzetbaar in de regio
  • Heb je al collega’s of studenten begeleid? Dat is mooi meegenomen, maar zeker geen vereiste
